The (not so old) Crocks Cafe -Part 2

I got my new scooter this morning, woop woop!

I've had problems with my old one pretty much since the day I got it so the arrival of this one is a massive relief. Also the new one is water proof so I can make all my local appointments this autumn/winter. Previously it has been weather dependent. I asked my dad to pay for it as the situation was getting pretty bad (not being able to get out was leaving me pretty low) and was dumbfounded when he didn't say anything about paying him back. He has a really good job and no financial responsibilities so £650 isn't that much for him, but it's still a massive deal and I didn't actually believe it would happen until I got it today.

Also I am going out to a town about 40miles away today, with dial a ride, so that should be fun.

Just sticking my head in to say hi. It looks like some of you have been having a bad time recently.

Sue for goodness sake woman!! Please tell me you dont do the upstairs windows as well:eek: Maybe you could strap a mattress to your front and back.

Got my new bath lift on Friday; it's great, easy to use, comes out of the bath easily to clean the bath, and means Mr LW no longer has to lift me at an awkward angle, so he won't be risking back injury doing that any more.

We're off to Kent for a short break; there's wifi at the hotel, but I don't know how much time I shall have to be online, as we want to pack as much as we can into our three days. So be good, all of you,;) and stay as well as you can.:o

Just having a bad day LameWolf. Don't like to go on too much when there's others far far worse than I am but having trouble coping just now and making people see I am struggling, or at least understanding it.

I'm in hospital this week, the good news is that they have wireless Internet on the ward, but I'm really bored

I know there are worse places to be, and worse things to complain about but I'm just a bit fed up with my own company at the moment.
