OP, I'm not sure why you have been subject to such vitriol on this thread. I for one think it is admirable that you are trying to turn your life around and I wish you luck. You shouldn't have to apologise for coming onto this board and simply asking for advice.0

Great. Problem solved. PM the OP and let him know what jobs are going at your place.
But i think you could provide a little more help to the OP by butting out. You may have points to make in a generalised debate, but in terms of rehabilitating the OP or helping him go forward in a constructive way with out reoffending, I think your input on this thread is counterproductive.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. I WAS ASKING IF I WAS ENTITLED TO ANYTHING as i live and was born here and have paid taxes for the past 5 years. not trying to get out of being on tag and having a suspended sentence. Your so niave to make out a addiction to something is like a pic nic in the park.Like i keep saying i asked a simple question all i wanted was a awnser not a debate.Using the word thief if every post is getting abit boring now youve made your point that i was a thief doesent mean im stealing now so that make me a ex thief.
thank you snuggle some people aint as pig headed as this idiot is mayb you should change your name to silver spoon.0 -
You were the one asking whether you could have benefits - sounds to me like you wanted bailing out. Don't give me excuses - oh dear I've been an addict so that excuses it all. This is months ago - you are a long long way off being an ex-addict, never mind an ex-thief. It has nothing to do with what you have been throuigh - or may yet go through. People make mistakes. But they don't get let off after a few months and it's all over and gone.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. bigmacman, well done for overcoming your dependency problem, please keep strong and don't let any knocks set you back! Why don't you contact the student welfare office at your college and ask if there are any hardship grants available? Many colleges set aside a "hardship fund" to help students with the cost of books etc. Good luck!0

You want to prove you are worth something - well stop being dishonest with everyone and expecting them to field your side. You are a thief. And a liar.
And just how is the OP being dishonest with us? He's already admitted to commiting a crime and having an addiction problem! If you can't offer anything useful and constructive to the OP to assist in his rehabilitation then butt out and start your own thread on how anyone who has committed a felony should be hung, drawn and quartered etc etc!0 -

Its a small thing but if you are an addict you don't overcome it, you arrest it because as soon as an addict has one thing of whatever there problem is it will cause them to spiral as the illness is a progressive oneThe Googlewhacker referance is to Dave Gorman and not to my opinion of the search engine!
If I give you advice it is only a view and always always take professional advice before acting!!!

Well, I've been clean for seven years now, why the hell would I want to do that? And how is any of this helping the OP?0
