    Hardly likely though is it?

    I said possibility not probability.

I do like to explore the potential of a good debate and see where it might lead.
Hope you have had a good day.
  • I have a good day today, been slashing tyres of people in blue badge spaces. All of them, even badge holders too. I do not discriminate! :rotfl:

Dear me - criminal activity is not to be encouraged.
  • All the Tescos in my area have a sign saying 'Disabled Parking' by the disabled bays. It does not mention blue badge holders at all.

I now have a blue badge, but when I first applied for one, I put a notice on my dashboard saying - 'Newly Disabled - Blue Badge Applied For'. Some Tesco car park attendants queried it, until I asked where it said that I had to have a blue badge!

but it does mean they should not park there..... no badge no park simples:D

My grandmother cannot walk more than 10m without becoming extremely pained, therefore she has a wheelchair. Yet the council will not give her a blue badge (we're working on that one). Thus I would choose to park in the disabled bays if I needed to.

Not all 'non-blue-badgers' are the scum of the earth. However, some are and those I agree OP should be fined and told to walk!

  • Just been to our local Tesco. 3 cars parked without blue badges. On the way out there was 7.
Reported this to customer services and they said they can not do anything about it.
Is this the same at all tesco stores.

At my local Tesco's I have been unable to get to the side of my car in my wheelchair as other drivers squeeze their car into the end space which is marked by cheverons but even worse some of the time its blue badge holders !!! You would think they would know better . I had no joy so I have written to the CEO of Tesco's as other Tesco's I have been to closely monitor their car parks and give out tickets and/or clamps so why is this not provided for all their customers, guess what he has not replied so think I'll send my letter each week until he gets as racked off as I've been sitting on 'his' car park .:)

A few years ago, a close friend of mine worked in the USA for a while - one of the southern states. Passing some disabled spaces one day, his American host explained that it was highly inadvisable to use them if you weren't disabled. Improper parking in a space designated for the disabled, whether on private or public land, was - in that area at least - a very serious offence and could lead to arrest and impounding of your car, and it wasn't that long since the host had witnessed an offender being cuffed and put into a police car. Would that we had such rules here.
