i have made a complaint about a specific manager and his brutal and appauling mannerisms and conduct towards me whilst dealing with an R&R...
I received a reply from HO and lets just say I have my doubts as to whether my complaint has been taken seriously..
The reply letter from HO begins
"Dear F******" not Dear MR or Mrs.... and NO my surname is most definatley not F******.
Lack of title and spelling aside, my complaint has been passed back to the store manager with whom I had a complaint with to HO. I guess that's going to go nowhere.
Customer service.. is that what you call it???????pinkpinkfizz

Not on the 'public' scanner I presume ? Can you check multibuys on that ? Do you mean the 'self service' checkout scanner or I guess you could check with a sales assistants checkout ?
Thanks for your reply bassman0 -

Yes ....I checked it on the public scanner, but No...you can't check multibuys on it...thats where I misunderstood the question....
The problem is...if you are seen checking the price with a sales assistant, then you might have a fight on your hands....as they tend to say..."you knew the price was wrong when you bought it"....
That isn't really a valid defence from them, but it creates an argument which you may nt be able to win...
If there are 2 of you in the store, it is better to send your partner to check the price....0 -

I think you'll have to take a few *** out of the F******* and let us know what it says
You really seem to have a better case now,,,I would imagine you could get even more compensation if the F****** is rude or insulting....0 -

i wanted to post exactly what HO had put on my letter (they DID put my surname! but spelt very incorrectly also not correctly titled i.e Mrs) but thought I would be discreet incase of snoopers!! Not any swear words or obscenities.. lol :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
although if had been from "THAT manager" It would not of been surprised!!pinkpinkfizz

bassman wrote:As long as you return it, in its original condition unopened with your receipt within 28 days of your purchase........their own policy says they will refund your purchase price....some people have even gained on the deal as the discounted £20 was given back by mistake......
The only horror Ive read about this was a recent post where a known RnRer was refused.....but then you could just go to another store....but legally(their own rules) they will refund.
Their rules on games/DVDs/Cds are different. They state that they reserve the right to swop these for the same title.
Having said that, if it is clearly unopened then you are very unlikely to have a problem unless you have a very awkward cs (and as we know, ther ain't many of them!!!!!!!:rotfl: )0
