Utter rubbish....the price displayed, must be the price charged....

edit..and even if they'd had the original price on a sel next to it...the law says...if two prices are on display...the lower of the two must be charged.

Well that's a good reason for a phone call to Trading Standards I would have thought. Leaving up old out-of-date offers is misleading and unlawful, I'd love to have seen them be so dismissive of you if you'd replied 'well, we'll see what the local TS has to say about that!'

Wouldn't mind, but I had two reasons to visit CS.

One being the WKD bottles, and the other to hand in a wallet I had found, which contains various credit cards, and £30 or so.

What is it they say about Karma?!!!

Scenario: Big yellow SEL says 'Lynx APDs (anti-perspirant deoderants) 2 for x.xx'. However, when you look at the little SEL's you see not all varieties are included in the offer.

Where do you stand with things like this? Are you supposed to look at all the individual labels to make sure you get the right ones if they don't specify in their big label? I imagine that you might get a R&R as good will unless the store recognises you as a serial R&Rer? Surely the big label is mis-leading though?

What do you think - what has happened in this situation to other people (before I go and buy 6 cans of Lynx!)
