kondormid wrote:wrong? did you say wrong? surely you mean cheaper. You were looking to see if any of them were labeled cheaper as you are not an idiot and are not going to pay a higher price when all it needs is to have a quick flick through the shelf to see if any of them are reduced. Luckily this time you found one. You use exactly the same technique when buying bread and milk and always search for the best dates.

Clasics wrote:Better still, stand outside Tesco with leaflets explaining how easy R&R *can* be and give them to all the people entering the premises. Certainly would be tempted to do this at any Tesco that banned me for pointing out their misprices.
I would do exactly the same if Iwere to get banned from a store!
I nearly told someone about it who was complaining at the same time as me about a TV, he hadnt been overcharged but was furious with the lack support from the so called "support line"Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0 -

Has anyone tried to find an xbox or ps2 today?
I saw a sel saying xbox and gotw £20 discount and another sign for the nintendo ds and game that was similar.
The strange part was that the first part of the nintendo sel had been tippexed out so presumebly this wasn't working properly.
Has anyone seen either of these sel's today.
I couldn't try them has eagle-eyes action man was pretending not to be watching me!0 -
'Introductory offer'
'Special Purchase'
Noticed these on expired yellow SELS on various items in my local store. Didn't buy & had faulty scanners. I've tried this before on expired yellow SEL's & the price has come correctly on a scanner in another store.
Is this a general rule with these special SEL's the expiry dates don't mean anything?0 -

The 640k came direct from someone I spoke to in HO.
The person (or people) who pay for it in the end are the customers.
If the 640K is accurate do you not think that, that amount will have to be recovered before the financial year end?
I know it will (although I don't believe it to be that high) and that will be through other products, probably within the same product group eg entertainment.0 -
The thing that continues to amaze me is Tescos knows about this forum. Store managers appear to know about this forum so why aren't they getting a member of staff to check this website every hour and remove SEL etc. I am sure it would soon pay their salaries to do this.0

Managed to exchange my PS2 for a DS + Brain game with no receipt no hassle at all. The discount worked and all I had to do was pay the extra £6 odd
Nice!
Thats excellent news....I'll now have to sort my stuff out, and see what I want to swap it for.....0 -
