Ooo, I'm so dense
Ok, there's a white DS on the shelf with a GOTW.... What do I need to check / do to see it it goes through as a misprice ? Do both the SEL lables have to be white ? Do I check the prices at the checkout rather than the public scanner ? Is it just pot luck and anyway you can ask for a refund if the price is correct ? Have nylon nickers on ?0 -

I'm not really the right person to be answering this as I only did it through trial yesterday.
You cant check at the scanner because that just scans 1 item at a time so the discount/bundle price will not show
I think both labels have to be white (not 100% on this though)
And yes, you always have the failsafe of getting a full refund should you be charged the correct price (oh the horror of getting discount!)Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0 -
MyUserNamesTaken wrote:Good morning, Myrtle. How are you? If you give me 20 minutes, I'll pop down to my local Tesco and find out the answer for you.
No, I insist. It is my turn to go, you went last time!!!

Mcdonag, please consider one thing when trying for more Xboxes: you're not the only person in the area trying those Tescos. The more stores you hit, the less you leave for other people. I'll say this to all those people who are going from store to store getting multiples of items. It really isn't fair on the others who live in the same region as you. Thanks.
I think this is quite simply, ridiculous, when I go out I get as many R+R's as I can/want. You seem to expect I shouldl get one from one shop then not try another just in case someone else wants to.
Maybe you could try to coordinate your sprees with others in the area so that you're all going to the desk at similar times, alternatively get there first. There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so.0 -
Hey_Dude wrote:Mcdonag - in the past I came to the conclusion that you were a twonk.
In recent tmes your posts have been helpful - you've dropped the chip on your shoulder and I commend you.
I unreservedly take back some of the subtlish snide comments I have made about you,

Hi Duder,
Thanks for the kind words.
I don't usually have a chip on my shoulder, it is just that when I joined this forum as mcdonag, peeps didn't believe my r&r's and I had to prove them wrong. That got my back up and I instantly go on the defensive when people don't know anything about me and make an assumption about me. I am a nice chap really, but when someone gets on the wrong side of me, I completely go on a crusade to destroy them.
It's my neanderthol upbringing in Manchester and 10 years in the Army you see. Dog eat dog, then go eat his family as well.
Thanks again.

I think you would be alright to get as much as you want.
If they pull the old bulk buying policy crap on you, then you state that they must have a bulk selling policy as well.
If they sold you the stuff in bulk then they have broken their own policy and your entitled to your money back.
What was it that you bought by the way. Saw a bottle of Jim Beam Bourbon, my fave, with a sel for over £18. It is normally £13 but it scanned at £13. !!!!!!.
