Tesco misprice discussion area part 9

Or you could go to a Gamestation and just change it there, though will probably want some of your cash to top it up.0

I would avoid tradeing stuff in at game or gamestation I took a still sealed PSP King kong game to both game stores in Bolton and gamestation.
GS offered £7
Game offered £8
I would rather it gather dust than give it to them for £8 knowing they WILL sell it as new for £25-£32. If I see someone I know with a PSP I will give the games away, I have a copy for myself of some of them.
ohh and I was correct somone did sugest the bank statement, it may be adviseable to block out any transactions either side of the one where tesco got your money.0 -
I had never done a r&r till this week, but i bought a phone and it came up at wrong price so went to pick my phone up and i told cs about being over charged, they called manager and i felt like a crim because he said that because the label for the reduced price was by another phone that it wasnt false info and he said that label wasnt there eairlier  i said what do you mean?i told him quite firmly to check his cameras to see, that i was not responsable i geniunely didnt go in tesco to get this as i have never had a R&r before but i think ive got the bug now free phone, and money refunded:j :j
sorry about mispellings0 -

I have exchanged games in the past, some stores wont entertain you some will I found younger people on CS were more likley to exchange older people wouldnt. the thing with the games was they had tesco stickers on them and were still sealed well all except the suduko games I swapped 2 games each time for a PSP game and paid a few extra pence.
the problem you will have is that the console and game wont have tesco stickers on them, proof of purchase doesnt have to be the recipt as far as Im aware if you have paid on a card wont your bank statement show a transaction to tesco for the ammountof the console and game or did you buy additional items? worth a try.
I paid cash for the lot, credit cards are the work of satan*
Am gonna try in an extra store later today, or I may get the GF to try acting the dumb woman routine (shes good at that) will post the outcome later.
*may not be entirely trueMissing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0 -

I wouldnt try game or gamestation, I was gonnna try WHSmith or another supermarket for the game exchange.
In any case if I did go to Game or Gamestation I would insist its not a trade in but an exchange (lost receipt etc etc..)Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0 -

That's what I said, Ben. I mentioned about faulty items, as someone previous said that R&R invalidates the guarantee. It doesn't, as you and I both know.In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
