Also, where do we stand when buying something on an out of date (in very small print) SEL, as my store has refused a previous item for R&R, as they claimed that since the offer end date was displayed, the offer was no longer valid and therefore the R&R rules no longer applied.

I was told by the shop and HO that the expiry date was clearly marked and therefore no r&r is entitled, although different stores and different cs staff treat it differently.

Just wait until you get a difficult one though, where the staff are adamant they aren't going to give you an RnR......They usually can't justify why they aren't.....

One manager said to me today...If I give you a full refund on this, then you wont be welcome back in the store again.......How childish can you get???......I asked him to ring HO...he did and although HO CS agreed with him.....I knew they were also incorrect.....

I asked HO CS to let me speak to her boss, I got a team leader who told the manager to give me a full RnR.....I told her about the managers threat to ban me.......she said it shouldnt happen, but couldn't over rule the manager......Its a store I've only been in once anyway......so will be no miss

Whats tescos policy on exchanging good with no receipt?

Point being I want to exchange the PS2 I got earlier for a Nintendo DS (already got a PS2) but dont really want to show them the refunded receipt.

Will they exchange?

I really don't think its appropriate to tell off Mcdonag for getting xboxes. Any person who goes out R&Ring "plays the game" and is hoping that they will be successful in their prize. No one should be asked "not to play" just incase someone else wants to play later. Timing is of the essence after all.

Also think of the senario if no-one played in that store, shockeroonee, lol, :eek:

Having read these threads for some time , I;m now prerparing to go to my local extra to see what's there. One question, what do you do if something goes through the till at the right price - do you just return it the next day?

getting very confused on the xbox/psp thing. tried for a white psp today with the game of the week. scanned correctly with the £10 discount off. get home and read about people getting this same package on the r and r policy.

will hope they havent changed the posters tomorrow morning, am determined to get one.

I posted last week when i thought id bagged one, big argument with the manager in store he refused basically as in this time somebody had changed the shelf labels while i was talking to the manager. rang customer services and they just apologised for the behaviour i recieved, no r and r.
