Does anyone know if GOTW and DS Lite is applicable or is it only GOTW and DS that discount applies to??? I am going to get one for son for his birthday in anycase - but if I could get on as an R&R - BONUS

This is true. For example, WHSmiths puts out the cards and books (from what I can remember).

On a recent R&R scouting trip to my local Tesco, I noticed that a lot of items had offer dates that ended on 14/09/06 (i.e. today).

QUESTION 1
Since the store is open 24 hours, what would happen if I were to try and buy something in the early hours of tomorrow (i.e. after midnight) ?

Is it likely that the till prices would update immediately after midnight, thus making the displayed price 'incorrect' and ripe for R&R'ing ?

QUESTION 2
Also, where do we stand when buying something on an out of date (in very small print) SEL, as my store has refused a previous item for R&R, as they claimed that since the offer end date was displayed, the offer was no longer valid and therefore the R&R rules no longer applied.

Will reply to this post here, as it would probably get moved anyway. Mcdonag, please consider one thing when trying for more Xboxes: you're not the only person in the area trying those Tescos. The more stores you hit, the less you leave for other people. I'll say this to all those people who are going from store to store getting multiples of items. It really isn't fair on the others who live in the same region as you. Thanks.

A huge thankyou to everybody who posts on the Tesco threads. I have now done half of my Christmas shopping for free thanks to Mr T. I have 10 books, 8 selection boxes, plystation games, toiletries to put in baskets from the voucher loophole last month. Just need cards, wrapping paper and more chocs please !!!
