Mmm well its gotta be worth a try, its not like I'm wanting my money back or anything, it'll be a straight swap hopefully the PS2 for the DS+mariokart bundle (both priced around the £99.9? mark)
Just have to turn on the charm!
Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!

No...thats not correct....The manager told me "I was not welcome in that particular store".....
I was banned from another today (in a different part of the country) and he said the same.
I even spoke to HO about it, and they said it was up to the individual manager.
As I havent committed a crime, I would imagine they have no right to pass my details on to anyone else.0 -

As you are talking about a PS2, I doubt it.
I would not exchange a PS2 brought back to me without a reciept.Who or what was I before you came in to my life
I am not sure0 -
Even this practice falls foul of your "Statutory rights" as on the whole games and dvd's are sold in an un-sealed state by Tesco et al.MyUserNamesTaken wrote:I forgot to add that they won't normally exchange games or cds that have been opened (due to copyright issues). You and I both know this, but Tesco CSAs will argue the toss about it...;)In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.

It is possible to be banned from all stores and premises, but you need to do something pretty extreme.
Actual Bodily Harm should do it

Whilst they have no right in theory, in practice there are some regions where the managers communicate on an unofficial basis and exchange information on a perceived risk for example, if a manager gets hit for an xbox he may call other managers known to him in the region and warn them off, perhaps giving a description or other known information such as the vehicle being driven etc, this is nothing more than natural and to be expected. An unofficial grapevine if you like. Note the use of the word unofficial, Tesco for some reason have not organised an official network that I am aware of, please correct me if I am wrong Constantine.bassman wrote:No...thats not correct....The manager told me "I was not welcome in that particular store".....
