As we get through a lot of strong cheese I often look out for BOGOF and they had the Pilgrims Mature today on that offer. I looked along the aisles to see if there was any other types that would take my fancy but took the 'Pilgrims' that had the label above it with BOGOF. Paid and realised soon after that I had been overcharged. Had 2 but got charged for 3 but should have, I thought been charged for just the ONE. CS here we come with my 1st R&R. The Lady checked the aisle label and told me I had looked at the wrong label...look down not up...but it was the only 'Pilgrims' on the shelf but it turned out to be a larger size and £4.50ish instead of the BOGOF £3.50ish...lot to learn with this pricing game...But at least I got a full refund and got to keep the cheese.............

There are price scanners available for customers to use in certain Tesco stores. These help when trying to make sure that you will be overcharged.

It's a small wall-mounted scanning machine and screen which shows you the price of items. You hold the bar code of the item in front of it and the screen tells you the price which will be charged at the till.
Unfortunately not all Tescos have them so you may not have seen one.
