It sounds obvious but to get claim on an R&R do I have to go back to the outlet from which I purchased it or can I ge it from any other store ?
How about to get refunds ? Can I go to any store or is it only the one that I bought it from ?I have learnt that living life to the fullest gives you a much better high than alcohol or drugs !0 -

I think R&R has to be done at the same store, refunds are ok at another store as long as you have the receiptMissing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0 -
To get an R&R I think you need to go back to the store you bought it from. You will need to prove the price you paid was more than the advertised price, I wouldn't imagine any store would want to take responsibility for another stores error.
Refunds you should be able to get from any store.
And now I must get on with some work, this site is soooooo addictive.Look after the pennies and the £££s will look after themselves0 -
Plushchris wrote:I also went into the Harold hill store yesterday on my rounds, they had a massive range of DS games in there, by far the biggest range I've seen in any Tescos!
But thats probably because of one reason, NONE of the games (except chart titles) had prices on them or on the shelf! Surely they should have a price on display somewhere?
Ring them (better than getting yourself noticed by saying it in person), insist on speaking to the store manager and tell him/her you are going to report them to TS as what they are doing is AGAINST THE LAW and each item not priced up can attract an UNLIMITED FINE. Tell them you will be going back into the store in a few days to check that all the prices are now clearly displayed. Don't obvioulsy give any personal details!I spelt my username wrongly on purpose, by the way!0 -
I just tried to phone HQ and they actually have 2 people dedicated to the PSP issue. I was on hold for 15 minutes and then they said they'd call me back!0

Good luck!
It's nto having any of it. It just jumps to the top of the page. Even opening the link in a new window doesn't work
Smilies don't work either, which is odd as even though its an old work PC i'm running IE 60 -
I'm asked for my name and postcode everytime I get a R&R in my local Tesco's. I did refuse once but was told if I didn't want to give my details I couldn't have the R&R. If they are building a picture, so what. It may show how often I get an R&R but it also shows how often Tesco have overcharged me.
I agree totally with this attitude. If you think about then they can catch you out good and proper if you give a false name and addy. I always identify myself as who I am but ask them what they intend to do with the information. To be honest, I would only be too happy if a Tesco manager decided to misuse the information. I would make a small fortune.0 -
Vodaphone and Virgin handsets save £20 when bought with £20 airtime.
In case this offer was repeated in the future....
Would it discount by buying the phone and 2 x £10 top-ups in the same transaction ? Still £20 airtime
Just a thought0 -
Having read the posts from the last 48 hours I'm really shocked by the latest instances of thuggery, bullying, lying, and what appears to be theft of a customer's property, exhibited by Tesco staff and managers.
I find it quite scary how such a huge company considers itself above the law and obviously allows such behaviour from its managers, who are becoming more akin to nightclub bouncers than professional customer service personnel.
I hope some journalists in high places are reading this thread.0 -
Bit worried.
I have had sh*tloads of r&rs recently..some big ones and little ones. I use my Tesco credit card. Do they have the right to look at my account and once they've refunded anything can they stop the payment? and proscute me?? currently fight again a £300 r&r so bit worried they will check the credit card and realise what ive been up to!!0
