I think we should get Watchdog/old dogs New Tricks/ TS on a mission with this, MARTIN GET ON TO IT! WE ARE BEING INTIMIDATED!!! MADE TO FEEL LIKE CRIMINALS!!
I rekon I should put in a claim to the court/Moneyclaimonline, for 3% of my total grocery spend @ Tesco for the past 15 years! Seeing as that was the estimated figure of overcharges!
What do you rekon? :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Quick basic estimatoin @3% of £50 per week = £1170 overcharges!!!Sig ah Sig Ahhh0 -

I havent had many R&R's in my local extra, But I am a marked woman. (I knew this following an attempted R&R on wrong SEL/packaging on some pork chops. The department supervisor called "her Buddy" of a Duty manager (also female) who said "I choose to over-rule the policy" then the two ladies left the Customer serivce desk shoulder to shoulder grinning an giggling at each other. Very happy that they had stopped my R&R.
Last night I wasn't even shopping for myself, I was accompanying my daughter, and she purchased a new mobile phone. We had a wander around the store and she went and paid for her shopping, we went to the CS desk to collect the new phone and I was stunned as a guy (Duty manager) quickly appeared at the Csdesk on an internal phone and was so obviously talking about me/us. He couldnt hide it, his eyes were darting back and fore towards us. he was very un-discreetly trying to see what was on the receipt and to work out why we were at the desk. He came off his phone and came forward and said "What seems to be the problem here?" My daughter said "no problem just collecting a new phone" He then took the receipt of the desk and examined it, he then took one of the CS assistants away from the desk and stood down a side aisle and I can only assume warned her about Me. I would love to know how the conversation went! The cs assistant returned to her desk, she genuinely seemed embarassed. My daughter received her phone and we left.
I left that store feeling as though I am a marked woman! and have no desire to go back anytime soon. (thats if they would even let me over the door!!:rotfl: ) but I havent done anything wrong and I feel angry that they are going to get away with this intimidation.
Anyone have any good advice?

I have spoken to Tesco who is running an advert in the let'stalkabout magazine offering a Sony Ericsson K750i on Vodafone for £129.97.
I was charged sel PRICE £149.99.
Tesco have confirmed that brochure prices can be a misprint and as long as I was charged the SEL price, I cant have an R&R. Seh is speaking to the magazine marketing dept for me.
I called consumer direct and they said that the brochure is an invitiation to treat etc but constant errors could make it more than accidental. She has referred it to our local TS department.
So looks like I am going back with the phones for a full refund after all then.0 -
Right. I went to Tesco's Store 1 to get a PSP but they didn't have any. So i travelled over to store 2 after work and bought the PSP value pack (shows up as PSP console on the receipt at £179.97) and the then current game of the week Tekken.
The £10 didn't come off.
Off to customer services i went, who wanted to refund me the game, not the full thing. So over comes the manager who was on the phone to somone else at the time (unrelated to this and i don't think they were even anything to do with tesco's). There's also another guy there who's just a 20ish year old dude working in the electronics dept.
He agrees that the offer is right, but the manager is having none of it. She only offers the game. So i pointed out as you said that the offers on the package, if i bought just the game i wouldn't get it etc etc.
But still, she won't budge. I asked her to phone HQ, but they're closed as its 18:20.
So i walked away and said i'd phone HQ tomorrow.
So what line do i take with HQ. Do i just innocently phone them and say i was over charged on the bundle and that the manager refused to offer a full refund?
Also, store 2 is a bit of a trek away from me, can i get the refund at store 1?
And if HQ agree, they're going to be shut by the time i get to store 2 tonight, could they send through a memo or leave a message at store 2 or will i literally have to phone and speak to HQ whilst standing in store 2?
Thanks in advance0 -

That's exactly what you do. If CS doesn't offer you a cheque, you'll have to go back to the store for the refund. CS will ring the store and tell them what they need to do. You are then free to pick up your refund at your convenience. In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?

That A-hole KNEW he was overcharging me for those games, I saw him do a double take on three out of the four (he didnt notice the first one) but I just pretended to be in a bit of a daydream and was looking out of the window. He didnt say a word!
Felt good getting the R&R on them but it left me wondering if the staff are told not to say anything?
Did they want to take you name and postcode?
I had to for a £15 R&R........Curious......The most vital time to relax is when you don't have time for it.

When I got my phone last night the poster was above the phone display. Not one but two of them 18 inches high and 4 feet wide which clearly stated that the discount was "£20 off all handsets over £50 when bought with £20 airtime"0

I noticed quite a few people bought the minced lamb...
WARNING - mine is dated (22/09) but went to use it last night (21/09) and it's smells PUTRID! Check it before relying on it for dinner!0 -

As soon as you lie to CS it's YOU who are in the wrong. This is supposed to be about Tesco's errors. Can I help?0
