I saw a Nintendo DS possible R&R in my local store today and didn't go for it as I do loads of small ones there. I figured I'd attract too much attention for myself in my local and didn't fancy getting banned from another store. Especially my local one. Sad that the intimidation of some managers seems to have taken it's toll on me.0

I am surprised u left the store without complaining, u r in there as a customer, potentially some1 providing their bread and butter! Not a criminal that they can follow u like that and make u feel uncomfortable! Whatever happenede to discreet surveillance anf that too for the ones to watch, i was recently followed in a big pc world store for a whole 10 mins, this security gurad was like 3feet behind me, i made my way to the till asked for the manager and complained, he then aplologised to me, took the guard aside then made him come and apologise to me then gave me a £50/- voucher and then spent 30mins being my personal shopper coz i asked him too! Saying that i am a girl and he prob did that coz he fancied me, thats what all me mates say, lol:)
However i wud urge evry1 to complain, we do not deserve to be treated that way and we shud not put up with it!
Hi Funkyfeet, it's not nice is it, I feel even worse knowing I have a credit card in my pocket that could buy anything instore instantly,
So how come these condescending guards think they spotted a shoplifter..maybe its the Armarni jeans that gave it away
Maybe by making their presence felt they think that it puts off a potential lifter..well it put of a potential customer.Back to square one, no apg, no comment.0 -

scared-i-jellyfish wrote:Just got back from late night shopping.
All the PSP, X-box, GOTW, etc had been removed.
Spotted smoked mackrel pre-packed - £7.29/kg, on offer at £4.XX - was charged higher price.
Also on the end aisle of individual sweeties - chunky kit-kat and aero, buy 3 for 89p - no discount, ful R&R.:j :j :j :j :j
Wanted to get your advice on something elsebought 5 cases of the 20 x stella bottles with out of date SEL - which was the only price indicated - of £9.98....... was charged £12.XX. The CS desk was closed, but the assistant gave me the A4 sign that had the offer price, and wrote on the back todays date and that I had been overcharged. The Team Leader, then scribbled ' only refund the difference'.
I have to go back tommorrow to get the R&R.
Am I entitled to my full R&R?
Overcharge = Full r&r , you were overcharged:DFour guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0 -
I see some people have been asking for this, click it for a bigger version.
Ive had some fun today, I used the store locator on tesco.com and found a few local stores that wernt on my tom tom Tesco points of interest so I added them and decided to visit a few stores less local to me I couldnt be bothered to go to work today I worked from the car  I hand my phone and PDA. My dad is constantly going on about his trusty old nokia 6100 being a pain so I want to get him a new mobile. give him a few choices.
I wanted a PSP for my mate who hit hard times and had to sell his and his birthday is comming up but all 7 I hit had removed the console posters except the xbox ones. so I went for the phones
Store 1 poster up but the staff and manager saw the offer as free top up not £20 off the phone and refused to r+r the phone, knowing what my plays were for the day I took a full refund and left it at that. I will let TS know.
Store 2 phone poster again so I picked up a phone and bought the top up offered £20 back which I declined the Manager was on a conference call so was unable to autorise the refund. I took the phone and returned later when I receved the r+r on the phone but not the top up ahh well.
Store 3no posters at all but I managed to get a book my sister had asked for the high heels book.
Store 4 phone poster and I got the mobile r+red again no r+r on the top up. aparently if it is refunded it cancels the top up.
Store 5 and 6 nothing, Store 7 was my local store where I try to remain un noticed the phone poster was up but they didnt have any alternative phones for my dad so I didnt bother getting another V3 or k510 so I left it.
I did see that all the stores had the baked walkers sels out for 8xp but no scanners were working. I must admit I bought some last night as I like baked Lays in the US and they are e same company as walkers and they are just as nice but would have been nicer if they were free.
Frequent, being followed round the stores is part of life, I tis very disconcerting but the store detectives have a job and they seem to do it to anyone my Gran has been followed a few times and she is 80+ years old they could catcher her with out trying. I enjoy it sometimes especailly in Tesco where the know me I usually lead them up and down every aisle at least once or twice and see how far I can push them picking stuff up taking it to the scanner watch the team of people checking each thing I pick up. fun and games.
The manager agreeing to r+r then saying no once the refund is issued needs reporting to Head office, hopfully you got his/her name if you didnt go tot he store pictures and their names are up near CS report him and wait for the shitto hit the fan.0 -
my R&R tonite...
went in and thought i would get an R&R on a DS and GOTW, went through till with discount
went to customer services whilst thinking what the hell am i gonna do with a DS that i dont want, and was thinking of reasons to take it back tomorrow to get a refund :rotfl:
got to customer services and they searched about to find the black DS I had brought, then realised they had sold out, and said they only had white left. I thought heres my chance to say I dont want it!
Said i really wanted the black so asked for a refund as they didnt have it.
They gave me a full refund for the DS, but didnt ask for the game back, and missed the fact I had been given a £10 discount for buying both.
So in the end, I got £10 off the game on its own.
Plus I got 112 clubcard points for the transaction, which quadruple up into clubcard deals so thats £4.48.
so in theory £14.48 off a £18.97 game, so really only paid £4.49 :T
also got 12 sports for schools vouchers and the 5p off every litre of petrol voucher for the transaction :j
So not an R&R but a bloody good deal :j0 -

Got an R&R tonight on a book karin slaughter Tryptych 8.97 stickered, was charged 9.97.
CS credited my debit card, but on her copy of the refund reciept she wrote my surname from my Debit card, then she asked me for my Post code? I panicked slightly and gave her my work postcode instead of my home one and she wrote this on her reciept. Is this common practice to ask for this?
Also can you be tracked as a r&r'er by using your clubcard? and is cash better than plastic for anonimity?
I was made to feel quite uncomfotable and wont be visiting this store for a while.0 -
Is that BRA2/1 in the corner? only I might need to quote it.0
