Tesco misprice discussion area part 9

PSP&Tecken bought at 9pm with no £10 coming off. Only offered refund on game (which I refused) so 8 a.m. call to cs tomorrow. I didn't take a photo of the poster so I hope I get my refund. I suppose the worst that can happen is I'll return it and get my money back. They took my phone number and offered to get their manager to phone me at home tonight but I said no as I'd take it up with HO tomorrow. I hope it's all worth it.

I found a small misprice on some chocolate tonight, manager after umming and rring eventually came to conclusion that i had been overcharged. without a word he handed me back product and stuck 60p (the difference) in my hand, i pointed out the policy (yes mate I have heard of it ) he was so flustered and embarrassed, straight away he handed me the full amount, he was so flustered i had to remind him about the 60p and would he like it back! comical!!

I'm not a they, but I could be by the time I get through the nice bar of Cadbury Whole Nut at my side :cool:

And no, don't expect comment on service recieved from me. Would not help very much I think.

Well thats what i thought :mad: I've reported the store to TS and to HO. i haven't dared go back to the store yet, much as i want to, but if i find a misprice, i'm worried about a confrontation

Tried a phone with voucher tonight, the discount didn't come off (big poster was still up) guy at CS desk had a look at the poster and went to find a manager, he came back with 2 managers and all 4 of use checked the poster. They tried to claim that that all I should get is a £20 refund, I asked about the 'price policy', the manager(s) told the CS guy to ring HO. He did but they were closed. Took the phone home and will ring HO/CS myself tomorrow. If they still refuse the R&R will I be able to get a refund on the air time voucher ?

The poster was still up btw, even after 3 staff (inc 2 'managers') had looked at it. :rolleyes:

Sorry constantine, no insult meant - I don't know if you are male or female, Constantine was a Roman Emporer, but that's my sum total of knowledge on the name.

Your input on here is always helpful, the same was/is true of tars and spa2k.

Have you ever heard of a manager agreeing to a full refund then snatching the product back?
