You should have held onto the items and walked away from the store. You should then have contacted CS tomorrow and talked to them. They would have called the store and told them to give you a full refund. You can still do this, but because you no longer have the items, it will be harder.

im fuming. several posters up about the phone, i purchased it, went to customer service desk. woman goes off for ages. comes back, and says she will give me £20 back which is the cost of the voucher. Said about full refund. She said no. I said it clearly stated off handset. I ask for manager who tok the posters down to come over.

He comes over, says the same. He wouldnt let me look at the posters to show him it said handset. He said he won't give me a full refund as the policy is at stores discretion. I ask for a copy of the poster and he said 'I cannot give it to you as you may put it on display in another store' I was shocked.

I'm about to write an email to HO.

They are wrong to say that you cannot return the phones for a refund if you leave the store, and they know it! You have 28 days to return unwanted phones, as long as they have not been opened. Argue it with HO. They may or may not agree, however. Still worth a shot, though.

hi i have been lurking for a few weeks and tonite while i was shopping i bought the PSP and game of the week tekkon tonite in my local tesco but there wasnt any sign saying £10 off i went to CS desk and mentioned that all the other tesco have the offer on and that i have been over charged, the CS and the manager got very shirty with me saying that all tescos have different offers on all the time, is it worth it for me to ring CS tomorrow if so what should i say...many many thanks

They know full well that they are supposed to give R&R on this hence there lack of giving you a copy of the sign.

Can someone please email me a copy of this sign, I really do need it as I am still on going with a case concerning it.

If you read back through this thread you will see that loads of people have had the items refunded and retained even when they have not kept the items. I would call CS tomorrow and talk to them

100% sure this one has been discussed before. Can you see anywhere on the page or brochure words to the effect, 'prices correct at time of print subject to change'.
This will be there get out clause.
However anythings worth a shot, cs, managers, HO all act differently when they want, Good Luck.

in the magazine is a review section and this says 11 pages or reviews, however the phone i bought is an advertisement (there are 11 pages with adverts on some pages to break it up so i am 100% certain the section where it says subject to change will not apply as my phone is a standalone ad.
