It seems you can measure your PD measurement yourself.
 http://www.glasses2you.co.uk/prescription_glasses/PD-Measurement-Print.html
It does not look that complicated. This appears to me like a case of high street opticians wanting to protect their market when they refuse to give this measurement out.
Be careful with the PD information you get from Glasses2You. I sent two close-up photos to them and they sent back an incorrect figure (65mm instead of 58mm)!0

hi i missed out on this groupon offer i was wondering if anyone has a spare one they are willing to sell or if groupon will run this offer again
 thanks0

Hi, well I must admit to been a bit bemused by this offer, I applied for the voucher and then selected the frames ( plus free lenses) then moved on to be informed that varifocals are £60 extra but so what, i then moved on to be informed that I should choose the next package for my vari,s ie thickness colour and so on, I choose the £55 package. So, all added together my cost was £154 less £39 (Voucher) =£115 well I think I can get them on the high street for that but wait I get a free pair. I contacted glasses direct and spoke to Nicky nice lady who informed me that yes i can have a free pair same frame but single lense only or I could pay another £115 for varifocals? Think I will go back to India and buy one pair varifocals with scratch resistance uv clear lenses for £60 and take a holiday as well. Remember there is no such thing as a free lunch.:T0

Getting concerned now, All 4 of the glasses I were interested in have gone, and the cheaper range of womens glasses seems to have shrunk considerably. I can wait and hope that more styles reappear but if they dont, there may be very little left to choose from.
Dear GD Rep, are you likely to be getting back the more modern styles that were there originally?
I m trying to remain optimistic here .......0

Well I have done my ordering.
Got two pairs for distance - one with reactolite and one with a tint both with scratch resistant and anti glare - both from the £79 glasses direct range (birthday treat) and got both pairs with groupon discount for £150 approx.
Then I found I had a free delivery code, so I used in another order for reading glasses (yes, I need both), just bought the cheap £39 ones buyonegetonefree - they look ok. And got both of them for £39.
So I managed to get 4 pairs of glasses for £190 or if you want to look at as an average of approx £50 for each pair of glasses.
I know I have still to get them and see what they are like but so far I am pleased - better than getting quoted £250 for the two pairs at optians (distance had reactolite and plain for reading), and they were both basic frames.
Please be patient with the website - I know some frames have sold out - ones I liked were but there is a wide choice and - why not treat yourself - your glasses are a help to help you see - a necessity.
 Kind wishes to all

PS Thank you to all glasses direct reps - on phone, here and on chat thing on website - you helped me with all my questions and concerns.:j cross stitch forever, housework whenever :j0

Exact same happened to me. The couple of ones I liked aren't in stock, and it seems to be a lot of the same glasses in a range of bright colours that are taking up the listing (instead of a square per style of glasses if that makes any sense!). I considered buying some 'designer' frames, but decided against that since you don't get the extra pair free on that deal...or not another designer pair anyway. Not sure now what to do or whether to wait or try and get a refund on the voucher.0

I have finally ordered my glasses from the £49 price ranged glasses. I have noticed they seem to have reduced the prices on some of the glasses although the range is still a little disappointing compared to what frames were on previously. Hopefully the ones I've chosen are nice.
For anyone who is wondering about the styles of the glasses, if you haven't seen already there is a virtual try on thing on the website. I couldn't find it on the actual site itself but googled virtual glasses try on and it's about the 4th entry down. Hope it helps someone.0

Sorry, that's a mistake on the site which I'll get corrected. The £20 silver package includes UV-block too.
 Hi there,
Thanks with all your help for getting them for my wedding but I have another small query. I questioned in an e-mail to GD whether the £20 package I upgraded to included the UV - I was told it didn't. Can you please check and make sure?Dear *****
Thank you for your recent email.
I can confirm that the silver package includes the anti scratch and anti-reflective coatings only. The UV400 is not included in this.
If you have any further queries do not hesitate to contact us.
Does this mean they are UV-blocked but not UV400?
I'm confused! I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine. I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

I'm so sorry for the confusion - the person on the email was right. This is completely my mistake and I'll update that previous posting. I thought the website was wrong and UV was included. I've double checked today, and the website was correct in the first place - UV *isn't* included with the silver package.
The actual page where you choose your lenses has always shown the correct information with what is included in the silver package, so at the point of choosing the correct information has always been displayed.
This is completely my fault for putting the wrong information, and I should've double checked first time round, I'm really sorry. :embarasse“Official Company Representative
