£13 for two pairs of prescription glasses Deals Discussion

These glasses might be cheap and great if you have a small prescription, but if you have a high prescription you might start to have problems. If you dont include some measurements you could end up with a pair of spex that you cant even wear because they cause you problems.
Yes you could take your pupil distance yourself but you probably wont take your BVD and frame size into account, so you wouldnt be able to decentrate the glasses . If you dont take these into account , you could get glasses that dont fit well, look cosmetically awful and poor vision.
Just a couple of things to think about

Pretty poor choice at £39 now
All the best have sold out. Wishing I hadnt bothered withthe voucher now. 0 -
It took 2 hours of my time to order my glasses, before it finally crashed again (I lost count how many times!). By the time I got through, all the choices had gone.
The advert is also misleading in that you must pay for the prescription lenses. What sounded good is actually quite poor. I have e-mailed Groupon for a refund.0 -

All our prescription glasses come with standard prescription lenses included in the price.“Official Company Representative

hello
do you know if the emily frame in gold will be back in stock before the voucher ends? (we received our trial this morning and my mum only liked those)
if not, will there be a similar frame soon?
its just, before buying the voucher i read on here what you said about stocking up so you wouldn't run out....so now i'm abit stuck
kind regards0 -
Great value, but I had problems with the site:
Ordered normal specs first then tried to add sunnies - couldn't, there didn't seem to be an option to add the tint. Had to empty basket and start again wtih the sunnies first.
Had trouble paying with PayPal - every time I clicked the 'pay with PayPal' button I got sent back to the home page. After three attempts I had to go allllll the way upstairs and get a credit card.
@ Levis2891: there is a live chat on the site, if the rep is not around you could ask on there. I used it and Hilary was very helpful. Some days you're the dog..... most days you're the tree!

Hi, I was also wondering if there is going to be more stock added to the website soon? All the frames I noticed over the few times I have managed to get on (briefly) over the past 2 days have all gone.0

We're hoping to add some more stock to the £39 range today and tomorrow.“Official Company Representative

Managed to order our specs on Friday
So, now it's just a case of waiting for them to be delivered. At just over £23 + P&P for 2 pairs of specs, it's a risk worth taking, IMHO.
Time will tell!0 -
Hopefully they will get some more stock in soon. There seems much less in the £39 range now, and the other couple of frames that look good for me are sold out. Was going to try a designer pair on home trial, not being able to get a second designer pair free was putting me off spending the extra a bit, but I can't do the home trial it says now as they are also almost sold out too.0
