Just back from Ireland after a glorious 2 1/2 weeks there. We all went away last weekend to the hotel my sister got married in to help them celebrate their first wedding anniversary and had a great time. I think Max is now struggling with the lack of attention as he was spoilt by both sets of grandparents. Both sides love him so much that it has confirmed in my mind that this is where I want to be!
OH's job application is still being processed but it is so slow. Yesterday an agency rang him and offered him 6 months contract work in Germany for €60 an hour. It is so tempting but then he would only see us at weekends, although I would get to move home!
We are going to Portugal next week and I can't wait for some sunshine. I think I have nearly everything for Max just need to get him some sandals and sunglasses (not that he will wear the glasses!).Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

I have been very hormonal this pregnancy but no sickness like the last one. Am not so much weepy as quick to temper and poor OH bears much of it I'm afaid.
How are you settling into the new house and how is your DD? I do remember her name but wasn't sure if you had mentioned it online so I won't.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

I should say I feel sorry for your OH but I don't really. Like I tell my DH it's his fault my hormones are all over the place
New house is coming on well. Got a load of DIY disasters left by the last occupants to sort out but we are getting there. Seren is settling well into her own room (don't know if you remember but she was sharing with us while living at my parents) and is loving school. She goes to primary school 2 hours every day and nursery for the afternoons. She loves the company of the other children and mixes really well considering she's an only child.Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
Glad the house is coming along well Starnac!
Had a very quiet weekend but that is because we are going to Portugal on Thursday and wanted to save some money instead of spending! Can't wait to see a bit of decent sunshine. I have nearly all Max's stuff packed - just need to get on with my own packing now!

Going for a week. Can't wait to get Max in the pool every day and to see him on the beach. I was brought down the beach every day when I was younger so I really want to see his reaction to the sand and buckets and spades!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947
