    Happy New Year everyone!

I had a lovely Xmas. Have been at home in Ireland with Max since the 13th Dec and OH was home for Xmas with us. We had Xmas day at OH's and the rest of the time at mine.

I had my interview on the 6th Jan and got the job so we are moving to Scotland asap. OH has training in Scotland this week and next so myself and Max are going to meet him there and stay with him (his company are paying for the apt) and then we can look at creches and apartments.

The job is 24 hours per week (3 days) so I am delighted as I get to work plus spend 4 days a week with Max as well. It is a home based post as well so I get to wave him off in the mornings and see him when OH collects him from creche in the evenings :)

CMD, that's great news, well done! Glad you had a good Christmas - it's mad that everything is happening so fast, but fingers crossed the flat and creche will fall into place like the jobs did :)

  • Hi all,

Haven't been on here in ages. We are in the middle of packing and are due to move next week (23rd).

I have recalculated our debts as they have been racking up with the move and we just can't seem to get under 15k at all. I am hoping when I start working that we can start to pay it off regularly and get rid of it once and for all.

I have done the induction for my new job and not 100% convinced it is me but will give it a go anyway.

More to update and follow when I get a chance....
