  • We went into town at the weekend to get some Xmas presents. It was mental but I think we have gotten more or less everything we need. MIL also contacted us to see what we all wanted (well contacted each other so it would be a secret) so I have requested some Oasis vouchers and a book. I also gave her an idea of things for Max from the Early Learning Centre. That way she will get things that I actually want for him, rather than something big (in size) that we can't fit in our suitcase!

So we are going to Scotland this weekend as I have an interview on Monday (13th). I also decided to bite the bullet and book flights for myself and Max to fly home early for Xmas (OH will follow on the 23rd). The flights were cheaper to fly home than to come back here so a no brainer really! OH. Will need to re-adjust my figures a bit as obviously Scotland wasn't something I had allowed for money wise so I have added a bit of debt, but it will be worth it if I get the job.

Good luck with the interview CMD!

I've just about started thinking about xmas presents but I'm only going to buy something for bf and my little brother. For bf's mom and dad I'm just going to bake some biscuits and put them in a nice jar with a ribbon.

Have just paid some money off my BOI cc. I need to adjust my sig as I have spent quite a bit on getting us to Scotland for my interview. Will amend it next week.

  • Thanks all.

Unfortunately the interview was postponed due to the weather but we went anyway and had a brilliant weekend. I had a phone interview on Friday and it seemed to go quite well and I hope to find out this week if I have a face to face interview with them.
