I can't speak for Kriss, but certainly the way I read her posts is that she dislikes people who fraudently claim DLA, and we all know these people exist. ;)

I think she's just bitter because some of us get the mobility part; but because her husband applied after he was 65, he couldn't get it.

That makes sense. So sh1305 we're clearly wasting our time trying to justify our needs. Let's go put our efforts into something else - and I don't mean the next thread calling us frauds! :rotfl:

    What?!
Kriss can have an opinion as much as the next person. You may not like what she says, but i am betting there are many people saying exactly the same behind closed doors.
    *SIGH*

Indeed. But some opinions are just WRONG. ;)

I'm not bitter at all. As all his care needs are met for free then we can use the AA to pay for taxis etc and we do. I think it is great that a man who had an extremely poor upbringing (deserted lone parent mother, lived in London through the blitz, no child benefit or tax credits etc) can actually have a bit of comfort and luxury.
He tells me the first time he ever had underpants was when he was given them in the Army.

However when I read people posting who are desperate to upgrade their awards by quite honestly exaggerating their problems then it does make me extremely cross. Sh thinks she should get high rate care, exactly the same as a quadriplegic person would get. Perhaps there should be more tiers to the awards? DLA is becoming for the greedy, not the truly needy.
