Oh dear a ficticious character hiding behind a ficticious name on an internet forum just called me a troll.

    Sad.

OP I think you should speak to him well before the weekend. I think though that you really need to think about what you want in life. I don't think you are happy in the relationship regardless of what he is doing. No matter how hard it might seem on your own, the way you describe your life with him now it can only get better for you. I don't think it even matters whether he has cheated or not, what really matters is how you feel and you are strong enough to take care of yourself and your babies without this man.
    Hugs.

  • Hi All

Had a long chat with Hubby last night after watching a programe about the woman with six kids?

~He said he found it hard to cope with the boys and wish he could just love them as he does our daughter...... He has agreed to do a parenting course at our local surestart centre and has said he will spend an hour a week at least with each of them... even if its just a trip to the supermarket before work or the park on their own with daddy.....

He did say he does like it when they come running when they hear him home for work and he does like the cuddles he gets from them..... so there is hope there i think...

As for the money....... I had a call this morning from a hotel on isle of wight (somewhere i always wanted to go but never got round to it..) confirming reservation and ferry times for this weekend :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D.

I was also talking to hubby's mates wife.. and she brought up the subject if her saying what a skank she was and how she tried it on with her husband.... in front of her!!!

So i guess second chances are in order :)

    Thanks for all your support...:T

In your previous thread I got the idea it was HER that told him to go away.

Anyway, I hope you have a lovely weekend and he spends more time with the boys, if he bonds better with them, he will want to naturally spend more time with them anyway. But having time to spend alone with them every week is a good idea, we all suffer from "I'll do it tomorrow" syndrome and having dedicated times to do these things, can help us to actually do them.

I too had followed your previous threads and was worried it was going to end in tears.
I'm pleased that you have been able to talk some of the issues through. I think part of the solution is the fact you've acted - or at least come across as - very cool about the whole thing in front of him and haven't gone hysterical. This has probably give him room to think through his own feelings and hopefully put things right. Whatever happened that resulted in the text you read may have been a moment of madness fuelled by drink / flattery / thinking the grass is greener??
You sound like a strong woman and would have coped if the worst case senario happened - I think that because of your strength your OH has been allowed the head space to sort things out and move forward. I'm sure he realises how foolish he has been and looks determined to right the past wrongs.
Wishing you all the best for your future and a lovely weekend.

I'm glad to hear the money was nothing to do with her after all, and your husband's going to work on his relationship with the twins - I'm sure once he begins bonding with them he'll wish he'd done it much sooner. It's nice to see a happy resolution instead of the messy divorce I was half expecting after your last post!
    Enjoy the holiday!

 Its great that you were able to sit down and talk and that you allowed him to be honest about how he feels. It can't be easy for him to feel the way that he does about your sons but his willingness to improve it is honourable.
Enjoy your trip, you deserve it :)
