Don't wait to see what he's doing. Make this entirely your decision! Pack his bags. The man refuses to bond with his own flesh and blood, has already checked to see how much he would have to pay via the CSA for his own kids, he keeps secrets, he lies, he makes no effort from the sound of things for you to have your own social life, it sounds to me like he's been a single man for a long time. If you get rid there is no need for you to fall out with your in laws, they will want to keep you onside for the kids' sake anyway, you can get a job or study and get a life of you own. Don't let this bad relationship hold you back from living your life any longer, you deserve a life that makes you happy every day. Do you have that just now? X

    Jackie ...

I know that you have apologised later in the thread .... but I really have to comment on this post .... there was one text from a woman & a few comments from the OP about the CSA, the next minute he is found guilty, which meant you acted as jury, judge & executor .... your weren't the only one - someone else talked about getting a lawyer ....

If the OP had done as what you had suggested, well I suspect there would be no trip to the IOW - more one to the divorce courts .,...

Has it not occurred to posters on here, the OP husband was struggling to understand his role - there are lots of articles on this subject

To be fair to Jackie though when people post on an internet forum for advice they are going to get lots of different opinions and that is why this site is so good as it enables you to get other peoples opinions on things. If a poster chooses to take someones advice and it ends badly for them that is only the posters fault - they chose to ask, they chose to listen and they chose to act.

There were several more than just Jackieglasgow who advised the OP poorly.
Many on first page had the hubby in a drunken fumble, a kiss, and he was adjudged to be embarrassed the next morning and regretting it.
Others were saying that deleted texts meant he must be guilty even though i gave a perfectly valid reason for deleting texts.

I just hope that all the posters who jumped to an inccorect conclusion do two things
1 - apologise for getting it so wrong by jumping to an incorrect conclusion
2 - never jump to conclusions again because next time it may not be on an internet forum and they could find themselves in a more awkward or difficult situation.

Willing to offer advice on camera equipment and photography if i can!
  • Aww - so the parents behaved like kids for the weekend........class!

So glad you enjoyed yourselves - long may it continue!

    xx

Darich, I hope it doesn't hurt too much when you jump off your high horse. You may need a ladder.

So you disagree with my post?
You don't think those who accused the OP's OH of all sorts of things and in some cases advised her to leave him were wrong?
you don't think they should apologise and learn from this?
