Jane, I ended up reporting them to ABTA & I think that's what prompted them to repay the full amount. The guy I dealt with at ABTA said they'd had loads of complaints about Bookable Holidays & the way they've dealt with the Goldtrail & Kiss claims.

There was someone on the facebook page making loads of negative comments & they've all been deleted now.

I will be posting as many negative reviews etc about Bookable Holidays wherever I can in an effort to stop other people getting caught out by this company.

Just thought you'd like to know that I have FINALLY GOT MY REFUND! In the end I wrote a strong email to the Director of Airborn Direct saying that I would refer the whole thing to ABTA. I gave them a week in which to reply conclusively telling me why we did not have our refund yet. I then got an email saying they were ready to pay and I needed to call. Yes, it is a headache waiting to get through and when I did I made sure the person on the other end read back my card details to me so that nothing would be further delayed. I asked if the refund would be processed immediately too. I was told it would be. I then followed everything up with an email saying what had been promised and warning that I expected the money to be back in my account within 5 days.

Hey presto money was in my account within 3 days! Whopeee!
