I'm the other one on their Facebook page asking about this!! It did move them, I got a name to email, but that was 3 weeks ago. I have just sent a follow up email because I have not received anything from them after they promised a follow-up letter within 10-14 days 3 weeks ago!!What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

Hm yeah, keep chasing. I have saved the number which I go the phonecall off and I am going to phone them if the cheque hasn't reached us by a week a week on Wednesday. That will have been 2 weeks, if they don't have an answer I will take things further.Became Mrs C on 14th of August 20100 -
It might be a coincidence regarding being phoned, as I too received a phone call to say the money is on its way. That will be 7 months from the failure, which is better than the predicted 12-18 months. Fingers crossed we get back all we are owed.

Hi, i'm having the same problem. Booked a holiday for 2 to turkey in July 2010, then goldtrail went bust 2 days before hand, I was gutted.
We entered our claim form and got a acknowledgment letter around October 2010, and after numerous emails sent and evasive phone calls, still no refund.
I called them today (tried a thousand different numbers but this one seemed to work: CAA claims dept. : 02074536350 but just stay on hold right through the options, they will eventually put you on hold and you can speak to someone)
So basically what i've been told now is that Beach Collection (the people I booked with) and 'Global' (the parent company) are coming to an agreement that should be confirmed within 2 weeks, and then the claims would be processed. He explained that they are aiming to contact all customers within 28 days and if I haven't heard since then to contact again.
Anyone else feeling completely helpless? I'm /this/ close to just trying to get a refund through my credit card company (thank god we used credit card).0 -

I made my monthly email to Bookable Holidays on Friday (25th Feb) and got a reply saying that they are now paying out!! I was told about half their customers had now received refunds and the other half should get theirs during the next month. Fingers crossed. Have any forum members received anything yet? We haven't even had a phone call.0

I have received a cheque with the return of MY money. At least it didn't take 12-18 months as they predicted.0

This is a message for Ponkle 22 - did you get stopped an admin charge or did you get a full refund? If you got stopped an admin charge how much did they deduct? Would be really interested to know as we are thinking of claiming back the admin charge separately if it gets stopped.0
