  • Frozen pie shoved in the oven and boiled pasta with a sliced tomato on the side!

Or frozen fish in batter and baked potato shoved in the oven, with a raw carrot on the side.

You can't really call it cooking but it certainly is quick for the lazy cooke (ie me)

But, We've just had our fave can't be bothered dinner come to the rescue instead.

Boil a load of pasta, fry some bacon bits, open a jar of pasta sauce. Mix it all together and serve with some grated cheese.

(also a great camping recipe as well ;) )
  • Fridays are our usual "can't be bothered to do anything that requires any effort" nights :D

    Bacon or sausage baguettes/sandwiches
    Bacon and fried egg sandwiches
Quesadillas (tortilla wraps filled with grated cheddar and mozzarella and chunks of jalapeno chillis, folded in half, then dry fried on each side for a couple of minutes...just think of them as a Mexican toasted cheese sandwich :D)

Jacket potato, started in the microwave and finished in a hot oven to crisp the skin, baked beans with a tin of hot dogs chopped up small and mixed in, sprinkled with grated cheese

Sardine burgers. Halve baps and toast both sides but more lightly on the spreading side. Remove bottom halves of baps and spread with mayo. Spread mashed tomato and sardines on top and finish off with slices of Edam. Stick back under grill until the cheese has melted. Heat through a tin of baked beans whilst all this is going on. Cheap, idiot proof [so suits me down to a tee:D] and a good way of getting fish into small people!

Pasta, pesto, peas, pinenuts, parmesan. Its so simple to make and we always have all of those things in as parmesan seems to last for months in a Lock and Lock box :)

    My favourite too!
