Curried egg rosti. Peel one potato per person , grate it (takes seconds in the food proceesor) rinse well and mix with a good teaspoon of curry powder. Heat a frying pan with a tbsp of oil then spread out the grated potato until it forms a shallow cake and fry gently for about 5 minutes or so depending on how deep the layer of potatoes is - it should be starting to look cooked but not yet done. Then you need to flip the whole thing - easiest if you have another frying pan. The top layer should look nice and golden. Fry gently on the other side for about 5 minutes then make some hollows and break an egg into each one. Carry on cooking until eggs are done and the potato is cooked. If you are in a hurry stick the whole pan under the grill for a minute to set the eggs.
Absolutely delish and as cheap as it getsIt doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!0 -

Take-away
Fish and chips
Or if I want something relatively healthy I'll have a jacket potato with tuna covered in beans! I'm lactose intolerant otherwise I'd cover it in cheese0 -

Mine is pasta with sundried tomatoes and pesto. The pasta takes 10 mins to cook, and all you need to do is stir in a spoonful of pesto and throw in some of the tomatoes. Really simple.
Bowl of cereal often features if I don't have much food in the house.
Interesting the amount of people who said takeaway! I can't be bothered ordering anything over the phone for delivery or going to get it, I'd rather just stick on some pasta.0
