Our comfort can't-be-bothered easy (and very cheap) favourite, is chicken nugget curry with noodles, courtesey of Mr T! I use a pack of value chick nuggets (about 26p), 2 tins of value curry sauce (12p each) and 4 packs of value chicken noodles (about 6p each). Nice and quick, and a mega bargain (62p in total, I cook for 3 so it's just over 20p a serving!!).
And surprisingly tasty too!Total Debt January 2014 £10,725.44

Or just some spaghetti with a sauce of one finely chopped garlic clove in some olive oil. Sometimes, less is more.
PS. Mind you, a nice glass (or two) of Piemonte red or a decent pinot grigio - white or rose - helps!
