  • Something on toast or spicy one pot rice which was a recipe I found earlier this year (curry paste, rice, chickpea, defrosted frozen spinach).

  • sunday night is 'dippy egg' night in our house! easy peasy!
  • Our comfort can't-be-bothered easy (and very cheap) favourite, is chicken nugget curry with noodles, courtesey of Mr T! I use a pack of value chick nuggets (about 26p), 2 tins of value curry sauce (12p each) and 4 packs of value chicken noodles (about 6p each). Nice and quick, and a mega bargain (62p in total, I cook for 3 so it's just over 20p a serving!!).

    And surprisingly tasty too!

Or just some spaghetti with a sauce of one finely chopped garlic clove in some olive oil. Sometimes, less is more.

PS. Mind you, a nice glass (or two) of Piemonte red or a decent pinot grigio - white or rose - helps!

Em......... marry me :smileyhea . My idea of food heaven :rotfl:

Jacket potatoes with a bit of grated cheese.

    Alternatively chocolate and/or coffee.
  • Eggs and toast sometimes with Jam on extra toast :)

Pasta and Passata with any veg that doesn't require peeling and cheese chucked on top - not even grated.

Cous cous out the packet with above mentioned veg.

    My friend makes supernoodle sandwiches...Urgh!
