are mobiles.co.uk still in business?

You need to totally forget about o2, that's not the issue.
What you need to concentrate is on your cashback contract with Mobiles.co.uk, this is the breached contract.
Ideally a LBA would have been sent first to give them a chance to sort the issue and by notifying your intention to sue if not resolved by the date you give.
The bottom line is Mobiles.co.uk should not have breached the contract as if you had you would have lost the cashback. Hopefully your paper trace should be suffice in getting a judgement in your favour.
BTW - missing one cashback no longer voids the rest, only the missing one.

As it's passed your "normal" mail time, the obvious question is did you get the cheque today??

Just another update. I have got my complaint sorted to full satisfaction and must admit (and I know that lots on here have had/are having troubles with this firm) they have dealt with everything in a very professional way and I am actually impressed with the firm and certainly with their complaints handling.
I usually post over at the PPI threads on this forum and help out on there and know how the complaints handling of BIG banks and finance companies can be and this actually tops the lot. I cannot fault them in fact and as I stated earlier in my posts, If a company has wronged me in any way then I will complain and shout about things (assertively of course lol) and if they make a mistake and put things right then everyone derserves a chance. I gave Mobiles.co.uk the chance to put things right and they have in no time whatsoever so I "to me" I cannot knock the firm at all.
Many thanks to all who helped in this and if you really feel you have been wronged and can prove your case then make a complaint and give them a chance to put things right. They have proved "to me" they are a fair company.0 -
Excellent news and great that they are now sorting issues. It gives confidence for our claim soon. It's a ported number claim and all the spade-work has been done with confirmation that the ported number has been added/updated onto our account.
Looking forward to claiming to see if they try and decline, but hopefully all will go as planned (as it should do).

I am having terrible problems with mobiles.co.uk and claiming my first months cashback. I dont receive a paper bill from O2 and have forwarded a copy of my bill from O2s website in accordance with their instructions. After having to wait 3 weeks for a response from them they finally tell me it is in the incorrect format, all the info requested is there and I don't understand what to do now after re-submitting it again and getting the same response I am now very close to their cut off time for submission. Has anyone any help for me please, I am getting very desparate, they wont answer their phone or emails. Eleanor0
