are mobiles.co.uk still in business?

Their website was up and running a couple of hours ago when I last looked at it. Given that they're part of CPW then I think it would be pretty big news if they went under. If I've helped you please show your appreciation by using the "Thanks" button

i know their website is still up, but their complete lack of response makes me wonder. the last time i had a cashback deal with a company that went out of business, their website was up for weeks even after they'd effectively ceased trading.
is there still a mobiles.co.uk rep around here?0 -
i'll take that as a 'no' on the rep then. shame, he was quite helpful last time i had a query.
does anyone know any way that i can get in touch with mobiles.co.uk seeing as they don't seem to reply to queries by email/their own webforms any longer? i couldn't find a phone number in the 'contact us' section of the site. or should i start directing my increasingly irate queries at CPW now?0 -
Their website blog has recent activity.
Maybe you could get their attention by posting a comment there:
http://blog.mobiles.co.uk/
This is from their ts + cs:
You may address any complaints in writing to: mobiles.co.uk Customer Services, 6 Greenhill Crescent, Watford Business Park, Watford WD18 8RF.
Maybe copying your complaint to cpw may get some results.0 -
They are running along as usual. Rumours of their demise are rather premature....0

They do tend to give the impression of having disappeared by the speed (or rather the lack of speed) of their communications.
I gave up and went to buymobilephones who were good at comms but had no stock.
Then I went to mobilephonesdirect who had stock and seemed to be ok on the communication front0 -
If their "disappearance" is to be judged on their (lack of) communication speed then they have been dead for a LONG time - yet still provide contracts!0

Try marking your email "Purchase" may make them respond!
:rotfl:I am NOT a mortgage & insurance adviser - or anything to do with finance, that was put on by the new system I dont know why?!0 -

that's not strictly true. when i was dealing with returns and customer services (i.e. not just sales) earlier in the year, i generally got a response within a couple of hours. it has now been 6 days and... nothing. that's the reason i thought they might have gone pop.0 -
Wow - you must have been a special case! If they have "gone pop" it must be because of all that hot air from the rep - but since they are part of cpw, they haven't!0
