but they don't consider themselves equal to their husbands??

in other words he is more important them they are

    :(

and whats worse, they don't want to be equal?

They think of him as more important as the bread winner and head of the family. But I dont pity them as they are happy, and who am I to say thats wrong if it works for them?

I hope that these kinds of women don't have children. What must it be saying to them? If my mother was like that, I'd be so ashamed.

Show me a woman who doesn't want equality and I'll show you a victim.

How are they a victim if its what they want and are happy?

Its not for me but I see no problem if it works for others.

That's truly sad. We're not in the days where a wife is property of her husband, and where she could be legally raped by him. Times move on.

Why is it sad if everyone involved is happy? Should they change to suit others?

i don't beleive they are truly happy, thats what they say they are but, deep down they must want to be valued as an equal

Because they're willingly not being treated with respect. Anyone who consents to that and allows it to happen to themselves is a victim of abuse. They might not see it like that, but that's what they have been made to believe by their abuser.

its sad that in this day and age there are women who feel they are not as important as their husbands

They can only kid themselves for so long. How can anyone be happy being treated as a second class citizen?
