Ah, that's great Ceridwen. I'll check it out. Apparantly i am pre-dabetic so would be interested in using stevia as a sweetener. When Alice Fowler did that series not long ago, i saw her make a pot of tea using the mint from her garden and she said something about adding a couple of stevia leaves. Well i searched the internet high and low and kept drawing a blank. I'll take a peak at the website you mentioned. Glad your plant is growing okay.

    Thanks!

  • Annie56, I haven't laughed so much in ages!!!! Good for you girl!! I too know the feeling of elation and sheer relief when you finally get away from a bully. I walked out with my 3 young kids, a suitcase and coppers in my purse to a Woman's Aid Shelter. I would have pitched a tent on the local roundabout if it meant I didn't have to live with him anymore!! The people on this thread are fantastic and will keep you sane and on the right track!!

I didn't take it that way it just hits a nerve every so often that I would love to be at home. I do know how mums feel, I have to work, come home cook, clean and tidy and look after my little one (which I love) and my OH is the same as others - expects the house to be tidy!

    No offence was taken. :)

    Well I'm glad about that.

Sammy, I would try and get out of PJs as early as possible - because it will make you feel better. If that's all you achieve is that, then so be it :D But getting dressed for the day can really help mentally prepare you :)

That's very true actually. It's a bit like having a bath/shower after you've been unwell - you don't really feel like doing it, but once you have, you feel so much better.

I used to find if I made sure I got dressed as soon as I got up (or after doing say the 6am feed) it made me feel more in control of the day :)

I might use that as an excuse for not doing boyfriends next errand being that there is always lists about.

Apparently this morning my body is telling me I need to sort myself out too - oh joy - fact that I haven't eaten a meal in 6 weeks might not of helped matters either and I honestly cant remember if I ate anything at all yesterday but I drank lots of tea. no idea if anything solid actually passed my lips.

Going to make a shopping list today and hopefully boyfriend will remember to bring his wallet home so I can get the rent money and £40 he owes me and go and do a top up shop to last us until next week when I'm paid.
    Time to find me again

Sammy - make sure you look after yourself and eat! I'm another one who is all in favour of getting dressed as soon as you get up - makes me feel a lot better, I can answer the door looking half human then even if the house is a tip:D

first payday to day since being debt free:j:j:j its fab looking at the online banking and knowing its all mine!:D - well apart from the usual bills that is;)

This from the guy who gave me mine, I think he has a business and sells plants. Mine were beautifully packed and have come on well, I have one big one and one wee one.

Sammy-Kaye please start to put yourself first especially as you have the new baby and your little boy.
Knowing that you like to make lists why don't you try making one for yourself?
You could put on it things like 'Get Dressed', 'Eat Breakfast', 'Each Lunch' etc.

I feel that you really should try to make yourself eat something solid as otherwise your health will suffer & then you you won't be able to enjoy your new daughter to the full.

Sorry if I sound like I am preaching.
