Hey all.
LittleMissHappy - I'm out of action as well. Beginning of Easter hols bf had a cold which he then passed on to me. Did a run on 23rd of April last, that was 5miles nr bf's mum's place, had to do some walking up hills as just couldn't hack them. Was off work till Tuesday and managed to do couple of long hikes and twp easy mountain bike rides but the uphills were killing me as couldn't breathe properly and that's still the case. Hope I feel better next week but will give myself time off till then.
Well done everyone else that has been out running!DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -
I'm going back out running at last! Physio has one more session as I've been out of action for 8 weeks now and I'm really looking forward to it. Although slightly dreading the first run huffing and puffing but after that I should be ok!

hi guys! I got out there for my first run since Good Friday, and am pleased to report that the marathon-heaviness in my legs has all but gone, so that bodes well for the summer, as last time I did the marathon, it took me weeks to recover, by which time I had lost interest!
So, 4 miles done today -very slow as runchum was finding it tough....but it was still 4 miles.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Went for my first run in a couple of weeks today (wooo!) Did 3.3 miles in 30 mins which I was really pleased with. I had loads left in my legs but I only allocated 30 minutes for running today so had to stop.
Well done on getting the miles in after your marathon hypnoBe the change you want to see in the world - Gandhi

Woo hoo!
First run in 8 weeks after physio today. Was dreading it after such a long break but it went really well and managed 30mins with no stops. All that previous running didn't go to waste after all.
Think I'll stick at 30mins for this week to get back in the running again and then see what I can get to after that to work back up to 6miles then onwards and upwards from there!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -

I found it much easier to get going again after I couldn't find the motivation to go out much over the winter (especially in the snow) than I did to get started last May - so I think the body must remember the rules of running for quite a whileCheryl0 -
Two more runs to log for me.
On Friday I did 3.06 miles at an average of 10:32/mile. Managed to miss the rain, but was tired and didn't really want to go out.
Today should have been my long run, but I had a long day yesterday (up at 8:15am, out at 12:40pm to drive to Peterborough area, left there at 1:40am, got home around 4:35am and turned in at 4:45am) so didn't get up until after 11am today and am feeling totally shattered.
So I've been to gym and done 5km on the treadmill, while trying to get used to running at a consistent but slow pace (so I can get distance running going). Took me 34:54, so works out at around 11:14/mile.Cheryl0 -
Another 3 mile run today but i really pushed myself and ran it in 25 mins 27 secs which works out about 8:42 min a mile! I didn't know I had it in me! I'm tired now, though....
How is your running going fedupandskint?

Hi everyone,
Run no.2 tonight after the long break 25 mins non stop and ran hard for 2 of those minutes - went well and I'm on week 6 of C25K as I decided to drop back down to assess my fitness levels. So plan is work back up to 5k by the weekend and then work back up to 10k over the next few weeks after to get to a run non stop point by sometime in Junefinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
