    What a brilliant morning!

My first 10k road race. Lovely, if chilly, spring morning and ran it in 52mins. Nearly ran out of steam right at the end coming up to the finish line but couldn't give in with people all cheering!

Really enjoyed the whole experience and so glad I did it. Really looking forward the half next month now after this

No much running this week as will be having 3 long days with lots of walking and next run is Thursday or Wed if get back in time

Much better run after work today, back to normal in fact. Felt like I was really plodding but time was normal and I'm starting to have faith that if I keep running consistently, I will get quicker and will be able to build up the mileage. 3.2miles better off today. 2 more runs planned for this week. :)

Decided to do the long 13.42 mile run this morning before the heavys showers reappeared. Boy that was hard going and very slow at an average of 10min mile pace. I ran it in 2hrs 35min. Blimey that was hard work.

Just need to keep going now for another 3 weeks......

  • Go sparkles :) Haven't been running much this week, assignment time again  After this lot I really need to get some sort of timetable sorted out to make sure I have enough time for everything else in my life. Like the children. And the husband. And even some running chucked in there ;) I'll be back on it after the weekend x

Same here, I'm drowning in assignments too. Just recovered enough to do 2hrs now on one assignment.

Life is busy isn't it? Especially working, family and study and exercise. Hard to balance all of that
