Thanks mascott. Been really tired after Sunday and went for my first run today. Started a bit too fast but coming back (out and back route) just suddenly the tiredness hit me again and I just couldn't carry on, so only 2.3mi done.

Good luck in your race mascott!

Well done on your tri - tirlittan

As for me I decided not to run the half marathon due to not being up to it and stilll having this virus lingering. Thought I'd better listen to myself for once and take notice of how I feel, which is not well enough to run.

I'm ok about it although disappointed I'm pleased with all the training I did to get to the point where I could run it full of confidence and that's the most important thing of all!

Sorry to hear that you didn't get to do the half mara sparkles, but it does sound like you made the right decision. I have more respect for people who listen to their bodies rather than go racing when not fully fit. Are you planning to carry on the training and enter another one sometime soon?

Thanks mascott. No running since then though. Was supposed to do a longer run at the weekend but went to play beach volleyball on both days instead. Planning a run this evening after work though. I need to get out at least 3 times a week!!!

Well done on your run LMH!
