Sparkles reporting in for duty.
I've been sidelined as the virus kicked back in again after the ear infection. Feel mych better now but not back to normal yet so no running planned until the weekend to make sure I am well and truly back to normal.

Well done thatlemming!
LMH - my plans changed as well so didn't get out for a run yesterday. Went into town to meet friends and get a glimpse of the torch relay. Something gentle tonight as it's so hot! Not complaining just stating a fact.DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -
I have a day off today so all the time in the world to go for a run. So what I decide to do? Go for a run in the morning when it's cool, overcast and bit foggy or go for a run midday when the sun's up and temperature has risen? Yes, I went for the latter!
I was planning to do 5 miles but realised it was too much in the heat and haven't yet run this week. So turned back but was still hoping for 4miles. The last mile was horrible, it was really sunny and hot and hardly any breeze, I almost gave up but thankfully managed to the end. Only 3.77 miles but at least I finally got out.
I'd planned to go out yesterday as well but another change of plans meant approximately 18mile bike ride instead. 2/3 on the road, the rest on the trails in Ashton Court.DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -
Well done for getting out there tirlittan! My plans were scuppered again yesterday - more weeding, I felt like a very old lady when I was finished (DH was laughing at me as I couldn't straighten up, I am only 33!)! Suffice it to say yesterdays run went out the window! I am hoping for one tonight but am meeting my sister at our allotment and having a glass of wine while we weed..........we can all see where this is headed, can't we?!?! I will try to have a run straight after picking the littlies up
!!!
ETA - managed a mini mile after I picked up the children but it is too hot and I couldn't be bothered to do moreI went for an hours walk this morning and weeding tonight so at least I've got some exercise in
