  • Going for at least 3 miles now. There, I have said it therefore it must be true and I am not going to just sit here in my running clothes wasting so much time on the computer that I run out of time to go for a run. No I'm not.

  • Actually did 30 minutes :) Wanted to do longer but haven't had much to eat and my legs were feeling heavy - ah well, at least I did it (still on 5.5mph though) :o

Well done for going! Good on you

I'm about to map out a long run for tomorrow - adding on another half a mile.

12.5 miles for me this afternoon in 2hrs 4 mins

2nd half went better than the first half. Planning to stick at this distance for a couple of weeks now.

It was lovely running in the fresh air past the fields on a quite late afternoon with a sprinkle of rain every now and then to keep me cool

Might try a 6 mile on Sunday if I can be bothered to go!

    Hello all

Back off my Jollies, which were amazing, eat and drank far too much, but we did walk our legs off which is good.

Haven't managed to figure out how long my dream run was but I shall soon.
I did however do 5.5k in 38mins- that includes a couple of mins walm up and cool down, quite pleased with that. Wasnt going for fast just to see how long I could go for.
Will try again tomorrow see if I can go a little further.
On other news I have my date for my minor op- nothing serious just corrective (tuesday) but I could be out of running action for a few weeks - good start but at least it gets it over and done with before I've really gotten into my running.

Still need a new pair of running shoes......

    Ciao for now

  • Going for 30 minutes (at least) now. I have found if I don't announce it in advance on here it sometimes (often!) doesn't get done :p

A very slow 6miles tonight on the 10k route for Sunday in 62mins. Between 5 - 10mins slower than usual. Probably not a good idea to go after 20mins of stepping this morning as legs were quite heavy and slow tonight.

Think I'll have tomorrow off and rest my legs a bit!
