I get up 6am every day but that just means I'll get to work on time...:( It's evening runs for me at weekdays for sure. I'm only planning 2/3 runs a week for now but will see how it goes and then maybe up it to 4. Second run will be this evening then we off walking for the weekend.

  • Yes, I did get up in time runninglea! I actually got up at 7am and only managed 12 minutes again but at least I'm doing it! I'll need to get up earlier so I can eat a banana or something 30 mins before and I might manage a bit more! DH did wake me up but I pretended to get up and as soon as he went out of the room pulled the covers back over myself :o Hee hee hee

tirlittan - I used to run in the evenings and I quite enjoyed it so I might do a mix...
runninglea - I'm normally like that - doing 10 miles a day or nothing! Must find a balance!

    Well done LMS!
And as you say, the important thing is to get out there (or on the treadmill ;)) and do it however much or little!

  • No run for me today so far - probably go on the treadmill later. I'll probably be able to go for longer as I will have had some food :)

Have you run yet? C'mon, get out there and give it a go again, you now you'll feel better for it :D

I ran this morning and it was very busy on the run route on this bright sunny morning. I went an hour or so later than usual and boy it was busy with runners. Weird as have hardly seen anyone out running lately! We were all taking advantage of the lovely day and why not

It was very hard work today and I felt a little like I was running on empty at the end. Funny how running for 40mins quicker feels harder work than running for 60mins slow plod pace for me.

Well I have another week of intervals left next week before a 1 hour run at 180bpm. Slightly dreading that run.....

The intervals have definitely helped me run better and quicker than I was a couple of months ago and I've really enjoyed them. I'm off to see if I can find anymore to download as I'm coming to the end of my training plan soon
