  • How do! Me again! Gosh I must update more often! I get the updates emailed to me which stops me coming on here to read them!! I was cajoled into doing a 10K on Remembrance Sunday at 9pm on the Sat night!! Not done that distance for a while so I found in hard going! Took me 66mins 58secs which is about a minute slower than my last one in August so I can't complain really!
    Good wine needs to breathe, if it stops breathing try mouth to mouth.

    No Shred for me yesterday but forced myself out of the house tonight for a run. Thought 30mins will be plenty to just get out but ended doing almost 40 instead but not very fast. At least I got out!!

    I'm struggling bit with tiredness and wondering all the time how much I should do. I've had so many colds this year it's untrue. Symptoms usually only last a day or two but they are making me tired. However, I do want to get back to fitness and therefore the running. But I don't seem to be able to keep very consistent. I'm hoping to go for a run tonight and once at the weekend. It may or may not happen.

    That's exactly how I feel tirlittan

    Was going to go for a run after work and then got home and talked myself out of it. Took the dog on a longer walk instead. Decided to go first thing tomorrow instead. I keep getting coldy symptoms too and I'm feeling tired and run down. Quite fed up of this really as I want to keep my running routine going like it has been. Guess a few days off aren't a bad idea really. We probably need to recover first, then get back out there ready to run!

    It is hard to decide what's for best fedupandskint. I did go for a run tonight for 35minutes but I didn't get very far. I was going to go for another run tomorrow but not sure if I should or not. Hopefully I'll give it a go.

    I ran this morning at 7.15am in the mist. Started off a bit creaky and chose one of the slightly slower intervals for today. Ran for 40mins and will be going back out again tomorrow morning. Went well though and pleased I went

  • I am totally going for it tomorrow. I'm sorting out my diary and booking running times in now with reminders! By the time xmas comes I will be comfortably running 6 miles again! Tomorrow I will run 3 miles. Wish me luck ;)

    Well done fedupandskint and LittleMissHappy! I only did the two runs last week. I was meaning to go for another one on Saturday but was feeling tired and thought I'd better rest instead. I do want to start incorporating at least 3 runs a week so I need to do a plan too. Slowly getting over this latest cold.
