I'm ashamed to say that once again no running has occurred since the 6th
I have been thinking about it a lot though......:rotfl:
A few of my friends did the Great Eastern run on Sunday so i think I will aim for that next year...surely I can get my act together to run a half marathon by next year?!?!?Be the change you want to see in the world - Gandhi

Hello all, I've just skipped through the thread but thought I'd try and join in for a bit of motivation. Got some very sore legs here after completing a marathon on Sunday, but want to stay motivated for a good crack at the London Marathon in 2012
Think I might be needing some support along the way!! Anyway I'll keep it brief for the moment.Total debt October 2011 = £3954.85 Current Debt = £3895.85

Welcome aboard outta and as for you LMH - any running is better than none so don't be down on yourself about it! I'm sure you'll get there by next year. That's what I'm aiming for too by next May
Ziggurat staircase training run tonight for 56mins. Hard work at times after having last week off due to feeling very tired and a bit run down. Having said that it went better than the first time the week before so thats good and I'm aiming to be back out again by Thursday. Felt good to be back out running again and was nice and clear on all the paths as only saw 2 dog walkers and 4 other runners for the whole hour on a popular path!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Morning runners! Where is everyone?
I'm back from my run this morning. They're going really well and its great to be running shorter times and distances for a change.
This week have run 4 times of about 4.5 miles per time approx and increasing running speed. Going well but having a couple of days off now after 3 runs in a row!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
I'm still around but not posting as not motivated to run at the moment
don't know what's wrong with me but need to get my act together
I was running every day so maybe I just need to cut back and make it 3 times a week and see how I go. Like you say fedupandskint something is better than nothing.....I will try the podcasts that you told me about as well to see if that makes any difference

Had to get up with one of the twins who wouldnt sleep, put her to bed and then her brother decided to wake up. When he fell asleep it was 5am.
Thought it wasnt worth going to bed for 1 1/2 hours so decided to do a run. The lap is 5K so started at 5.15 am and finished 4 laps later at 6.46am.
So 1.31 for just over 20km - quite impressed with myself since the most I have run in the last year or so is about 8-9 miles.
Also never been a morning person would normally run late at night!Year 2019 (1,700/£17000mortgage repayment)Overall mortgage (71,400/165568) (44

Hiya ladies! What's up?
Believe it or not, I actually went running this week for the first time in ages! Only did half an hour but it's a start. Basically, did this route I've walked before and knew there was this zig zag uphill and could not possibly conceive of running it up at all....but I did!!! It wasn't easy but it wasn't nearly as hard I thought it would be.DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -
Hi titlittan

I have been absolutely pants with my running - haven't gone for one since 6th and no excuse either unless you count sheer laziness
Littlies back at school tomorrow and I am feeling bloated so am putting down in black and white that I will be running tomorrow even if only for 10 minutes! xBe the change you want to see in the world - Gandhi
