I went to outdoor circuits yesterday for the first time - a little achy tonight after all that hard work and boy was it!

Having a couple of days off running and will be back out there again this weekend for the last week of intervals before the non stop running begins

  • *sneaks in again.......
Hello peeps. Gosh, it's been a while! But I have been out there, honest! Not as much as I ought to have been admittedly seeing as the Great North Run is a week on Sun and the longest training run I have done was the week before August bank hols when I did 8.5 miles
Having said that over the bank hols I was walking in the lakes and did a 15K walk taking in 4 summits on the Friday, and then a 16K walk taking in 4 summits on the Sat followed by a 10K race on the Tues (with a PB (64mins vs 68 mins last year!!)) and then parkrun last Sat (with another PB) and then running with the running club barefoot on the beach last night and in the sea, which was a really enjoyable session.
The banner is on the Tyne Bridge now and the tents are going up at the finish area! It's good to have all these little reminders as I'm driving around! :rotfl:
Good wine needs to breathe, if it stops breathing try mouth to mouth.
  • Have the reminders encouraged you yet, bagpuss?!? ;)

Nothing is encouraging me at the moment. I am just going to have to suck it up and get out there. Tomorrow. :D

Hope you are all out there running :)

Wow! Congrats mascott514  I'm building back up to around 6 miles....when I get there I may stay there for a while tbh as every time I start to do more I lose my motivation!

Did a little 1.5 mile run on Thursday which felt great....my first run in weeks :)

    Hello all! Stranger popping in!
Still haven't been running but hopefully soon. Doing about 10miles of cycling daily though so not totally slacking off. Really getting inspired about triathlon though so need to start running at some point, build that up and start swimming as well ready for a tri next year perhaps?

Good luck for everyone who's running. Any races coming up?

No races here but might plan for one next year if I feel brave enough to do it
