Been on market since JANUARY and not had ANYONE look round!

The 25k was all the work we had done on it, it sounds a lot but we have actually had a wall knocked down, a chimney breast taken out, every room had to be re-wired, all the electrics in the loft were dangerous, we had to have new joists in the loft, extra insulation, an alarm, the heating system wasn't just a cheap one, the bathroom suite alone cost 2k without even the cost of labour/plumbing tiling etc... each room had new radiators, extra plug sockets etc and we didn't do this cheaply, we didn't buy the house to do up but to live in and so we didn't just put in the cheapest boiler or the cheapest bathroom you see.
Quite a bit of this is stuff to bring the property up to a 'good' standard. Did you pay over the odds when you bought, taking into account the amount of 'basic' work that was involved?0 -
We changed agents in June. We were with a previous one from January- see the original post.
I am confused by all the conflicting opinions- some say "Oh the red is too bold, paint it white, go bland" then others are saying that the bedroom is too bland seeing as it's not exactly colourful.
Do you think there are too many photos? Should we just have a couple and then leave teh viewer wanting to see more? Or does that make people suspicious?
It is 3 beds, not 2 yet it is still in the same price band as the 2 bed terraces because we are aware that the kitchen needs doing, it's near a pylon etc. We are aware of it's faults but we are not going to be putting a new kitchen in ourselves, some of you are amazing managing to do such big jobs whilst having children but it is not something that we are capable of doing.0 -
Propertybee says the first listing was in June.0

If you have too few photos, the typical response is "What's wrong with the rest of it?".
I think you should improve and possibly expand on the photos you have.
Are you truly HAPPY with the photos? What would YOU change about the way your home has been presented to the public? Is this genuinely how you want it to be shown?0 -
Propertybee lists the history of the property. Had it been listed in January with a different agent it would show that, too. It shows all movement and changes on the property.
According to Propertybee the first movement was on 19th June.0 -
No, propertybee shows the history of the advert. The other agent would have deleted their advert and the new agent put a new advert on.0

Well I can assure you that it has been on th emarket since January! I don't know why you're trying to argue the fact considering that it is my house and I am well aware of how long it has been on for! I was asking for constructive criticism and feedback not having people suggest that i'm exaggerating how long it has been on for!0

Thermidor is wrong.
Very rarely, if EAs go bust/merge, it can appear on Property Bee as though a property has changed agents. Which might be where Thermidor gets the idea of ever-continuing adverts from, I guess.
But generally, an advert is deleted and a new one created upon a change of agent.
Thermidor, if you add properties to your "saved properties" on Rightmove, then wait until they disappear from ordinary searches, you can still see saved version, where it will say something like "this property has now been withdrawn/sold" and a greyed-out image of the old advert...which is when you know its time to go hunting for the new advert with another agent, in order to find how much it might have dropped its price by...0
