Did you get anywhere with Barclays if not it will be Mercers (thats their inhouse collection agency)who will probably contact you shortly, once i sent my SOA and offer letter to them they accepted and froze interest and charges so finally making a dent in that one stick with it and keep putting it all in writing

Havnt heard anything back from Barclays since got my termination letter and letter to say that the £40 per month wasnt enough. They have had letter from CCCS and SOA
so maybe they may rethink think it was a standard letter that I got.

Did write back to them and havnt had any repsonse so who knows at the moment

Hi Jackie and all other 1st August DMP starters.
Things are still calm on the phone front apart from one call from Citi who we havent phoned back.
As our first payment from CCCS to creditors wont go out for a while yet I have sent token £1 payments to them if I know that the CCCS payment wont get to them before the monthly due date - I am hoping that as they havent received the reduced payment (agreed by most I think - I dont understand the jargon in their letters/statements) yet, that they dont start calling again. LLoyds (surprise, surprise) have piled on charges on my overdraft again but hopefully things might settle down again soon with those.
I will be more reassured when I can see on my credit card statements that they have received the first payment.

Yes I agree feel happier when they receive first payment which I believe will be around 25th August.

Seems weird having credit card statments and not doing anything with them. No phone calls, I agree letters are confusing still havnt heard a thing from Barclaycard and Aqua dont quite know what this means whether they have agreed or not.

Argos still put interest on this month statement but agreed to the reduced amount so a bit confused at moment. No more news from Barclays bank re overdraft I expect they are still putting daily interest on dont want to look at account at moment.

Not been on for a few days but was just wondering how it going with your plan....I have sent a few letters with token payments as they become due and nearly got all my bits together to send to CCCS....got my new bank account opened yesterday with Halifax and they are doing the whole 'switch' for us so thats one thing less to stress over!!!!

So, quiet atm...get a few letters but have sorted the important ones !!!!!

Good to hear from you not much happening at the moment first payment to creditors goes out on the 25th August. Havnt had anyphone calls or snotty letters for about 2 weeks now.

Still havnt heard from Barclaycard or Aqua apart from an e-mail from Aqua to say that my payment was due.

Barclays may just send you a letter headed Mercers Debt Collections
just to say dont panic its in house so just write them if you need to there maybe lots of letter writing I still a letter every few weeks asking me if I can pay more just tell them my circumstances have not changed and I will still pay them pro rata offer this seems to work

Hi Jackie, just popped in to see how things are with you. Things seem to be ticking along with you and 25th august for your first payment to CC's is not long off.

We seem to be getting lots of calls at the moment, which we are ignoring and I've spoken to CCCS this morning who have said that our first payment should be 1st Sept, which I'm glad about.

Speak soon and fingers crossed that things remain quiet

Im ok thanks yes just waiting now for payment to go out it seems forever since I started this process.

Sorry about calls you get jumpy when the phone rings and it kind off spoils your day.
Hope you have sorted out your problem with the CCCS.

Off to Norfolk on Sunday to see my parents havnt got much money to take with me though ask my hubby who grumbled at me. But at least we will have good food that I dont have to pay for and some nice trips out, then payday on the 26th August seem to have got through a lot of money this month, I suppose its coz the kids are at home and doing things that I dont normaly do.
