Hi Jackies, if the calls are that bad, answer them and when they ask for you, say "I'll just get her" pop a CD on and leave the phone by it, and get on with what you were doing. A few times of that and they might get the message;) Alternately, write the "don't phone me" letter, there is a template here somewhere. Good luck.

Hi Jackie, sorry to hear that you are having problems with phone calls. I'm working away so not having to go through that at the moment but getting hold of OH is a nightmare as he is not answering the phone to anybody including us!!!!:rotfl:Our daughters have been trying to ring him but get no answer.... I told him to vet the calls on caller ID not to blank everyone!!

Well, it seems like you are making headway Jackie which is great... I've had a letter from Barclaycard but it looks as though it's just a standard one requesting payment.

Morning Jackie, yes, I'm surprised too that we haven't had any responses to the token payments that I've sent. We've had some phone calls from withheld numbers but haven't answered any. I'm wondering if this is the calm before the storm?

I'm lucky that my children are grown up so I don't have to entertain them:o

I'm working away again this week so won't know what's going on until I come back on Thursday night.

Anyway, I'm trawlig through DD's at the moment cancelling from one account and setting them up on another. The one I'm struggling with is the mortgage as it's with the bank that I owe money to so not sure of the best way to do this?

Speak soon and enjoy your Sunday

    Ellie xx
