This is exactly the reason why I cant tell my OH. Ithink it would make my life hell. Things are bad enough as it is, without that !!! Keep strong, and just ignore him !!
  • Hi pkezza

It took me a long time to tell my hubby and still havnt really told him how much I owe. He basiclly dosnt want to know, I told him about the DMP and hasnt really been supportive about it. I think he takes the attitude what I dont know about I dont have to deal with and blocks it out. It putting huge pressure on me and I just want him to say dont worry you are doing the right thing we will work it ou together but he dosnt so I feel very alone.

Dont know what your hubby is like but if he is like mine good luck!!!!!

As for ignoring him thats exactly what I am trying to do but when you are short of money and you know he can give it to you but you have to go through the spanish inquistion every time its really hard. When i get paid in October going to try and put some away so I dont ahve to lean on him, I know I should be able to go to him but he is very stubborn

Trying to keep strong but very difficult at moment

    Hope you are ok.
  • Hi Jackie, just popping in to see how you are, hope that everything is o.k

  • Hi Ellie

Yes not too bad thanks and U? not much going on get the occasional call from Aqua apart from that nothing else happening.

Trying not to spend any money bit difficult though how is the job hunting going or are you just trying to relax and not worry too much?

  • Hi Jackies41, you have done the right thing to start off the DMP. Mine started in April, still not properly settled but it's very easy and normal to be nervous and on tenterhooks. Some creditors, such as Barclaycard are awful to deal with, they deny all knowledge of contact and keep passing the debt to different debt collection companies. If there's one thing I've learned in the last few months, its that you have to be so tough and strong to deal with all this. And believe me, it's not easy. Lots and lots of good luck x
  • Hi lifeonthesword

Thanks for your words of encouragement the only creditor that dosnt seem to accept things is Aqua Barclaycard have been ok.

I try not to think about it too much and get on with my life now.

  • Hi Jackie, glad that things are running relatively smoothly for you, same here at the moment. I've been for an interview which seems quite positive so just making the most of my time off.

Life is more or less back to normal but without all the stress

  • Hi Ellie

Was ok but had letter from Aqua saying that they had no correspondance from CCCS and all charges will still apply, so I guess ring CCCS tomorrow and see if they can send another letter to them, I expect they are trying it on, they are the only ones.

Sold some stuff on E-bay today thought great but then when I went to Pay-pal account to withdraw funds they have put my account pending so I cant take any money out, say I have to wait for positive feedback I have 100% feedback so little annoyed as I could do with that money.

Anyway enough moaning just had one of those days hope you are ok and get some news about the job.

  • Hi Jackie,

Shame about ebay but you know that the money is there and hopefully you will get your feedback through soon.

Aqua seem to be pain in the a£$e for you don't they but I'm sure CCCS will help you with this. I'm not sure who my worst creditor is as I seem to be getting allsorts of conflicting letters at the moment i.e. they will say that they are holding charges but then pursue us via the phone. I'm just filing everything away and getting on with my life:o

    Speak soon
