Hi
I called CCCS on Friday who told me that I would get my confirmation letter in the post in the next couple of days and first payment will come out on 1 November. Still nothing when I try to log in on the website so clearly not yet in process properly. Creditors will start to call me this week which I'm not looking forward to and my temp role is due to finish this week which is giving me added pressure.
Glad all well with everyone0 -
Hi Katu
My experience of the CCCS is very good dont panic I think it took about a week to come through, I know you are keen to get the ball rolling
As for phone calls I didnt get as many as I thought I would this was my big worry because it causes so much stress. I didnt answer them because I felt unable to keep calm and thought I might swear or get upset, so I just let the answer phone cut in. Once they got the paperwork from the CCCS the phone calls stopped apart from one of my creditors, I have sent them a letter to take my phone no of their system they probaly wont though.
Good luck this is the tricky stage but a couple of months down the line you should feel better about things:j
Take care Jackiexxx0 -
Hi beliver and welcome
Hope things go ok for you it is a bit up and down in the first few months
Good luck with things :rotfl:0 -
Hi Jackies41 - hope is all steady with you at the moment.
Things are not too bad with my 17 creditors except Halifax who stopped interest for one month and for some reason have put it back on this month so £2 from £89 paid to them has gone towards paying debt!- I will have to write to them to find out whats happening. Lloyds (4 accounts) are baffling me with their letters and dont communicate between depts so interest and charges still on them - so I will write to them, and I took a call from Citi on behalf of my husband and after 20 mins of me repeating that I was paying all I could to them they have stopped interest - for the time being.
I am still having trouble realising that I can actually buy an item of clothing for myself or my son as there is a budget for clothing so I went shopping yesterday and bought clothes that I do need for work and my son does really need but still felt really guilty about it !
Still - my mum is treating myself and my 4 children (well -youngest is 19) for a weekend away all food and entertainment included, this weekend so I shall enjoy myself ((she doesnt know about debts) for a change!
Best wishes to you and other August DMP starters0 -
Sounds like you are all getting a positive result.
I still haven't had any confirmation from CCCS which at the moment I am quite glad about them being slow because my agency are screwing up my salary. Two weeks ago I went in to them and changed my bank details to the new one and again this week it is going into my old account which can be used by the bank to offset against the loan I have with them so again this week I have to frantically get to a cash point first thing to withdraw the money and then much about going into the town at lunch to pay it into the new account. Didn't think it would be so hard to change my bank account details. Once they finally get it sorted and paid into the correct account then I everything will be okay.0 -
Hi all
