Hi going forward
No your right his attitude isnt helping me at all, its putting a great big wedge between us.
Also Aqua keep ringing me they are the only creditor who have ignored all correspondance.
Not in a very good mood today

Hi Jackie, so sorry to hear that you are having a bad couple of days and your OH is certainly not helping is he? What is wrong with some men? I think goingforward has a good idea to charge him for everything that you do for him, I'm sure that you would soon be out of debt if you did LOL!
Just keep plodding along Jackie, your payments are going to your creditors so there's not much more that you can do.
Just remember you've come this far so no going back and it can only get better;)
Take care

Hi Ellie
Thanks for your support feeling a little bit better today about things, yes his attitude really stinks sometimes.
How are things with you?

Hi Everyone
My file is getting very thick of various letters mainly from Aqua. I am just filing them away and getting on with my life they are all getting something there not much more I can do at the moment.
A few weeks ago would not have had this attitude but would have been panicking about them at least I am doing something about it.
Hubby still not really on board and thinks I am loaded now I WISH keep having to tell him that yes I have a bit more money but am still having to budget and be careful. Be better when kids go back to school and they stop eating me out of house and home.
Anyway plodding a long feeling better about things dreading going back to work as have been off for 6 weeks as I work in a school. I really should look for another job
cant find the inspiration at moment and there are no jobs around my way anyway.
Have a good bank holiday everyone Jackiexxxx0 -
Hi Jackie
Sorry to hear your support levels are dropping I feel the same at this point too just getting there with my creditors too but my OH is very up and down with support and seeing as the debts are mine it comes across as all my fault and he goes on about how hard he is working but so am i from the emotional point with the kids etc
Hope things pick up soon for you0 -
Hello everyone, just thought I'd introduce myself. My wife and I have just started the proccess of setting up a DMP.We recieved our pack from CCCS a couple of days ago and are just collecting all the required information to send off also we have applied for a new basic bank account with Halifax but this could take over 7 days to set up due to huge demand? This is a very stressful time for us as it is for everyone,I'm sure most of you guys will be no strangers to sleepless nights, panick attacks and the general feeling of helplessness. I,like you, just want to start living without fear (I've forgot what that's like recently). You look like a great bunch of guys (reading the posts) and I look forward to getting to know you. Looks like I've come to the right place.0

Hi Winner 12
I know what you mean the debts are mainly mine and yes I get the blame for everything and he dosnt seem to think that any of it is his.
We all work hard in our various ways whether it be looking after the kids going to work
Some of us do it all. At one point I was doing 4 jobs and the shopping and looking after the kids and he still said that I wasnt bringing in enough money and should get a better job, I could have hit him why dosnt he get a better paid job.
Hope things go ok for you I have finally stopped feeling guilty and am trying to get on with things.
Good luck with everyting Jackiexx0 -

Hello & Welcome! It looks like our little band is growing steadily:) We have all set up dmp's recently and have had our ups and downs but we try to keep each others spirits up, we have the odd moan here and there but mostly we are just trying to get through this difficult period in our lives and sometimes need encouragement from each other:T

Surely though unless you have a wardrobe full of designer clothes, shoes and handbags (in which case chuck some my way lol) and although the debts are in your name, its built up through you supporting your family.. Surely he must realise that and if he dont he needs a good kick up the backside !!
And as for working 4 jobs and looking after a house and kids, well i am speechless that he let you do all that and then told you to get a better paid job... i'm afraid if mine had said that he'd be living in the shed !!
I hope he wakes up one morning soon and realises what an !!! he is being and decides to start supporting you.0
