Just defrost them enough to snap some off, pop the rest back in the freezer.

    I hate sausages.

I always do this too - use a cutlery knife like a chisel and hack off what you need. Don't even need to defrost slightly, just chop at stuff.

or throw them with some force on the floor (either a clean floor or still in wrapping) I have done this many times with things I froze in one go. A good slam against the wall and it all breaks up beautifully lol

Grill them and slap them inside some french bread with some ketchup and mustard on top - excellent hot dogs or put them in a mixed grill for breakfast with bacon, egg and mushrooms.

Take the middle out of the sausages mix with some egg and bread crumbs. Make some short crust pastry cut into small rounds put a small amount of sausage mixture on one use another for a lid then pinch the sides you have mini pies ready for packed lunches.

It sounds like a perfect recipe for sausage and mash to me. However thesse threads have lots more ideas that should help:

How many things can you do with potatoes.

One of us will merge your thread later.

I'd never mash new potatoes. I'd recommend scrubbing them, boiling them and serving them with a big knob of butter. There's nothing wrong with just grilling the sausages and throwing a few marrowfats on the side. I can't see anyone not enjoying a simple but tasty dish like that.
